Thanks for the reply. The sensor idea was a shot in the dark, but we'll see. I don't know what the heck is going on with the car. I'll get it figured out.

Is there an easy way to test this sensor? My 2005 Maxima has similar symptoms. Shows to be running hot, fans continuously running. But no physical sign that engine running hotter than normal.
