Also check the wire bundle running from the truck to the trunk lid. I had several wires fail at the bend, caused all kinds of lightning issues.

I lost both rear window cables within one week. Tried to fix them but they are just plastic. I just went to the junk yard and picked two up from a 99 just to be sure they were as new as possible.

Clock is normal, radio is being to dark is due to dimmer switch more than likely.

Use a small flat screw driver to gently pry of the dimmer switch and make sure it is firmly connected
