i switched to semi-synth, which in my opinion would be the best choice for our cars...
i chose castrol magnatec for the extra sticky...

Thats definately the NZ/AU maxima... not as nice as the US version.. we only get 4spd auto and only 170kw... its not marketed as a sports sedan here :(

the gauge thing is a gear selector as mentioned and yes its JDM, my parent's old NZ maxima didnt have the gear selector. And theres no white guages...

We get a lot of jap imports down here in NZ and the only car i know that has the VE is the 89-94 max... im not sure when they started using the VE in japan but i remember seeing the VE engined maxima...

i think my starter is gone, all i hear when i turn the key is a ticking sound. Everything has power though.

try 32-43 front and 32 back... might reduce the bounce a bit, but theyre obviously going to be harder than stock setup.. My 17"s with lowering has some savage jolts on some of the rougher bumps.
