Fahren bulbs are really solid. Much brighter than stock, cutoff is preserved for the low beams. High beams will blind everyone (but so would the stock units).

I'd like to add fogs. The car doesn't...

For the moment, I bought a set of Fahren 6500K LED bulbs. It's a cheap experiment; the entire 4-bulb set (H11/9005) was like $50. If they're garbage, they'll go back to Amazon and I'll buy the HID...

Headlight upgrades?

I have a 2010 S model with the standard halogen headlights. The low beams in particular seem very weak (or my eyesight just isn't what it used to be). What's a cost-effective, durable way to improve...

This was really easy. Ran from the box down the plastic trim the rear seat, then adjacent to and behind the seat, and just behind the felt. Hard to describe, easy to do. The whole install was about...

That's not a helpful comment. The car is rated to tow 1000 pounds. You have no idea what I'll be towing, on what terrain, for how long, or with what load in the car. Categorically dismissing the idea...

There isn't enough power to the rear lights, it needs a separate line. I was curious if anyone had attempted to route anything from the trunk to the fuse box. Perhaps for a subwoofer or the like.

Scosche magnetic mount for the CD changer. Very stiff, instant strong phone connection, and the base plate hasn't stopped my X from wireless charging. I had a different mount in the changer for five...

I have the base 2010 Maxima. I ran a cable from the Aux-in to the fuse box, then hardwired USB 5V from the fuse box to a Homespot receiver that sits in front of the fuses and switches on and off with...

I've had this problem since about 15K miles. It's audible at 2000 RPM and above, when the car is warm, and over 40 MPH. Doesn't have to be in drive. Quite loud and obvious, it sounds like a badly...

I used to get that, then had an inexplicable MPG drop around 50K. The car does ~16 around town and about ~24 on the freeway steady-state at 65 MPH. This is with Costco 93. What gas do you use?

If you're still looking at this, check all the intakes and filters. Mine dropped by 30% because I had a clogged air intake. A bad fuel filter will do the same.

My take on cars like this is that if you drive calmly, change the oil, don't leave them in the sun, and address small issues before they become big ones, they'll last pretty much...

The styling. The seats. The sense of isolation from the outside. The highway power. The lack of gear changes and abrupt engine noises.

It's a smooth, classy car with a lot of power. I like that.
