Thanks Ben, I was thinking of doing that as well. It shouldn't be too hard to match up the wires as long as I follow the wiring diagram thats stickered on each HU.

Wells it's the least costly alternative because they are only $100-$200 online. I actually like the OEM sound from Bose... :D

Will 1995-1999 Bose/Clarion HU work with 92-94 Bose system?

I'm buying a 92-94 Maxima SE (standard Bose I believe on 92-93 models), but they all seem to have tape decks. 92-94 bose/clarion CD/Tape unit's are harder to come by so I am wondering if 95-99 units...
