I have full coverage, so they will cover it, but I have a $500 deductible. The one body shop I have gotten an estimate from (thats all I have had time for so far) said I was looking at $800 -$1400...

I would recommend trying to get it through the boot... it will help prevent water intrusion, exhaust gasses, etc. The boot is a ***** to get through though... just lots of force with something stiff...

Yeah, I would tend to agree. I honestly cant remember if I tapped into the leads comeing off the HU & into the AMP, or if I tapped into the leads coming of the BOSE amp and into the "factory subs"...

Personally, I think it sounds great... I have all the adjustments on my sub set to about 3/4 of thier max, and just rounds out the bottom end nicely... the bright front sound stage really is offset...
