Just got the car back. Runs good and sounds normal. This is my repair bill for $1400. The original worn guides are on the paperwork.

Bought my 2006 max last year with 40k. In the shop now (74k miles) for the notorious timing chain problem. $1400 repair job.

Love the car. Hope to run it to 150k with minimal problems.

I have the same problem. 2006 maxima with 74k. Quoted $1400 for the repair. I asked them to save the old parts. Sould be done in a few days. I'll report back.

I have the 2006 SE non bose and do Not have a SAT or AUX button.
I don't have a 6 cd changer either as some folks mention. Can anyone confirm wether or not this will work for me?

I have an 2006 SE with no SAT button or aux button. Can I still install the reciever from Grubbs? Earlier in this thread they say you don't need the SAT button but grubbs say you do need the sat...
