You also have to change the fuel sending unit as the digital cluster uses a different unit from the analog cluster.

i find my heated mirrors on my 94 se very useful...

i find my heated mirrors on my 94 se very useful every winter. i don't have to scrape or spray my mirrors with anything. best of all, they always clear up within a minute

I would keep the gxe (have insurance deduct the scrap value), put some money on top of the insurance check and buy the se. You can then take time repairing your gxe and still own your dream car (se)....
