Tried out some more editing...

So a buddy of mine actually paid me to shoot and edit photos of his Monte Carlo...I told him I didn't want any money at all because I am an amatuer at best but he insisted...

So without further ado here some pics from the first photoshoot for Justin Cassidy Photography

Disclaimer, I know I'm nowhere near a professional level, these were taken just for fun, so don't be too harsh

you're taking pictures of a car, not a deer. What exactly gave you the idea that the car would look good in that setting? Shadows all over the car, no clear shots of the paint. On top of that it looks like they were taken with a phone.
What exactly is edited? If they look this bad after editing, maybe you should post the originals.

I told you the setting was bad, is that not constructive criticism? If you're gonna be a little whiny ***** every time someone points out your pictures suck, don't post them.

thanks for the PM.
Here are my pictures.
Maxus09 Scenic Cruise Picture Thread
They're not awesome, then again I'm not making threads to show them off like you are. I didn't pick the location, I didn't set up the cars, I just took the pictures. You picked the setting, you set the car up. Please, keep the threats to yourself and calm the hell down. If you can't stand critique, don't post garbage.

so I can't say yours suck cause I don't have any of my own posted?
And you want to race my car, for money, because I said you didn't post good pictures? Grow up....

But you seem like a decent guy with a good sense of humor but just ease off a little bit...instead of bashing my pics...why not give me some tips so the next time I post pics they look decent by your standards

there's a difference between being blunt and being a plain ol' douchebag. you can be honest without being a jerk, you're not Greg House, .

and he didn't ask you to sugar coat anything, he asked for pointers on how to do better next time.

haha, yeah, front is too dark. Maybe is you moved the camera a bit to the right, that way the sun would be showing. If you had some wireless flashes you could've lit up the front...

the sky is bright so I'm guessing your camera exposed the frame for that, leaving the front dark. Otherwise I like the slight fish eye look and the pic looks good oherwise. However, what exactly was edited?
Sigh, I bought a bunch of wireless receivers and flashes and I never use them...

I blurred the background....sharpened the image, and brought the saturation out some more...

You should really need to work on trying to achieve a better exposure....start by taking a better picture, and use photoshop or something to mess with the curves/exposure

Look in car magazines, see how the pros shoot, and try to imitate them, atleast to get a good idea of angles/lighting/exposure/location etc..
