Finally took those heinous dubs off huh?

Black ought to go good with that Merlot color.

Never seen your car with the 22's but I can tell you right now they probably looked hideous!!! Definitely at least put your stock 17's back on...I don't know if black would look good with the Merlot but I think a nice dark gunmetal would go good.

if your car is not black, no black.

if your car is not gunmetal, no gunmetal.

BRONZE!

or better yet, buy some decent aftermarket wheels.

If I had to pick from those 3, I'd say gunmetal.

If I had my option, I'd say to pick another wheel entirely.

i think most people would choose gunmetal. personally i can't stand the fact that black/gunmetal are used as a one-size-fits-all solution for wheel color. if it doesn't contrast (bright colors) or match then it just looks cheap and ugly.

what i hate almost equally is that painting oem wheels or using oem wheels off another car has become a substitute for aftermarket wheels.

I say gunmetal. Bronze is nice, but not with red. Bronze needs blue, dark grey, dark green, or black to look decent.

I think gunmetal looks sharp with a dark color car, as long as the chrome trim is gone too. With black window trim, gunmetal wheels, and red-smoke tail lights on a dark colored car, it's a nice combination.
