Well compared to my other cars it is, remember I have a 4.5gen with a 5speed swap and a 4banger 91 s10 with v8, tranny and rear swap

I am bidding on a z-tube right now and will order a 5/16 spacer shortly. I am leaning towards osiris but still need to know if I can have it tuned with 2 maps n/a and nitrous before I make that dive.

Then I will get some rims and pull the nitrous off the maxima, cause if the max does not sell I am going to turbo it
The HR Y-pipe isn't hype I believe I was the first one to introduce the pipe the community, but I did it solely as a cheap experiment. I noticed a nice deep sound improvement as well as improve throttle response and what I thought was better low end power. The HR y-pipe appears to be good for around 6-7whp/wtq which is the same as the $400 MD XYZ pipe.

http://g35driver.com/forums/tuner-dy...pipe-dyno.html

You might was to reconsider the Z-tube as well. It's simply a noise mod and if you plan on doing a spacer and the RevUp airbox, the sound improvement is lost. For whatever reason, the Revup airbox with the spacer is jsut about as loud as the setup with the Z-tube. Additionally, the motor just feels better with the G-tube in place. Tony at MD dynoed the G-tube and Z-tube and there was no change in power.

thanks alot for the dyno graph and I did see that one but was hoping to find more on the hr and aftermarket y-pipes. I am also trying to get more dyno info on different cat backs systems but for the price you really can't bet the hr y-pipe. I found a thread were a gut installed a ebay y-pipe and thought about that also, I do not mind going over the welds if I have to.

I know the z-tube is mostly a sound mod but it will serve another purpose as I do not want to drill a hole into the stock g-tube for a nitrous nozzle. This way I can swap it back when the time comes to trade the car in.

There is a nissan meet in a few weeks and hopefully there are some g's and z's there with exhaust setups I am looking into that I can talk to the owners about.

The only thing confirmed is the z-tube, shift kit and spacer, the tune and exhaust is still up in the air

ok so I ordered the spacers and they should be here any day now. next it's the 5/16 spacer.

I was talking to Matt at r/t tuning and was bouncing some idea's around for the car and looks like I maybe getting long tube headers and a tune instead of an exhaust

and I had a ebay y-pipe. the quality wasnt to bad but it was thin gauge metal .. it lasted me and sounded good, alot of other guys ive seen are happy with theirs as well.

yeah for 2grand I'd just get a used SC kit but I am going with megan racing long tubes basicly the samething as the OBX's

so as it stands now the setup is z-tube, wheelspacers which I already have, 5/16 intake spacer, megan racing long tube headers and a uprev tune. Next year I'll get a shift kit and a front lip then I am done
