That looks pretty nice, I like 3/S cars especially '99 3000GTs.

you could go the camaro route with far to much power and youll never be able to drive it. or you could be smart and stick with the "4000lb car" and all wheel drive to do somethin more like this... and yes, this is probably a bigger "waste" of money but oh well...

there are probably 100+ camaros that would destroy your "smart" choice

with that car breaking the "world record" for the 3000gts, its still slow

there are n/a cars that run that time and are dd's as well. dragsters or what ever would blow that time apart.

dang, def gotta give it to that evo! that is a fast street car. although it is almost a decade newer! still gotta give props to the vr4 being as old as it is, and as heavy as it is! still in the mitsu family though!

n yeah, still not impressed with the camaros, they are all straight line cars. not street cars. but dont get me wrong, i love camaros, and chevy for that matter! they just arent the street car that the vr4 or evo are.

I have no idea what that is supposed to mean? stock a vr4 isnt a great handling car and no where near the level that an evo is. and how is a 9 sec vr4 a street car while the full interior lighter camaro runs 9's in a calmer manner not a street car.

maybe your google is broken but there are more camaro road racers then vr4 and evos combined in this country.

your saying a vr4 is gonna get out handled by a camaro! in stock or modded form! n yeah i know theres a ton of camaro guys out there... and there are alot more then either mitsu that road race. they all go for the v8 power, its easy to make quick.

and like i said before also, the evo has a decade on the 3000. if you just lightened the 3000 up a bit it would prolly run with the evo pretty easy. n how is the camaro calmer?

im not exactly racen. im impressed with the fact that a heavy, older, "twisties" type car pulled a 9.6! if i wanted to bring up a topic on fast straight line cars id prolly say corvette lingenfelter, or hennessy viper, or ccx... although i do think that the 3000gt vr4 makes a much better street car than camaros that haul *** in the 1/4. considering its a much more streetable car with all wheel drive and steering for that matter. the camaro was made for straight line speed. just my opinion. over all im partial to the vr4. it looks nice and performs much more like a super car than a camaro does any day.

you posted the vid of it at a drag strip, so you did bring up a topic on fast straight line cars
and the 3 cars you mentioned are a HELL of a lot better "twisties" cars than the 3000GT

the same people who think a 3000GT looks like a supercar are the same ones who think a ZR1 looks just like the base C6 or an M5 looks just like a 3-series

i just posted it cause it was the fastest i found... people said it was heavy n slow, so i posted a fast one. and yeah the three i mentioned are better twisties cause they outclass the 3000 in EVERYTHING lol, after all they are considered super cars. oh n im far from thinking the zr1 looks like a c6, and the m5 is far superior to the 3 especially in looks! i just wanted opinions on the 3000gt vr4 on the second page of the first link i posted lol. its a nice car! and im pretty sure it would out perform most any street car. and probably even run a really fast 1/4.
