Nismo 370 and GTR

I'm sure you've all seen pics before....but I was bored while waiting for my car and saw these in the showroom.

I like the look of the Z, but when I sat in it, I felt very confined and the blind spots were huge. Also, the rear view mirror provided little information about what's behind you. The GTR was locked, so I could only admire from the outside. I sat and stared at the front of the car for a good 10 minutes and the more I looked at it, the more I started to hate it.

Just wait till you actually ride in one. I wasn't completely sold on the looks, then last year I got a ride in one. Blew my socks off, fastest car I've ever been in.

.

The thing launches so freakin hard with no wheelspin at all, and is just one continuous pull. Almost feels like an electric engine with torque everywhere. And IMO it doesn't ride bad at all; my maxima has a harsher ride....

Yea the ride wasn't too bad, but the ride didn't last very long, can't give much input on that. My GT-R ride

My ride wasn't terribly long, but we hit some pretty rough roads that feel a lot worse in my maxima. And he had the suspension on "R" mode. That car was just extremely well put together with no slop anywhere. I can easily see how the launch control can do some damage to the transmission; even a light launch was gut wrenching and immediate.

Yeah my maxima looked pretty small next to it. The back seat has no headroom, though. lol.

funny cause i wasnt too much of a fan of the old nismo Z, i prefered the looks of the normal Z...now its opposite with this gen, the nismo Z looks tons better than the standard Z, big wing and all.

Yep, absolutely agreed.

When I get half the chance, I'm going to post about my Tochigi experience with the GTR and Nissan. The highlight of my trip to Japan...and that was before my exclusive spur of the moment ride on the Tochigi test track for full acceleration and braking with the GTR! It scared the crap out of me.

i cant help but laugh when people say how bloated the GTR is...yet it can still do amazing 0-60, slalom, 1/4 mile etc ...who cares the car can stay at its current weight and still out perform 99% of stock and modified cars on any given day....you gotta give props to that.

btw i saw a used gtr for 62k...cheapest ive seen. had a hair under 20k miles tho but gives me hope that they will one day become within my price range lol

ya theres alot of people bashing it im like wtf? on supercars exposed they said it was faster i believe 0-60 wise than every lambo (thats stock) faster than most of the ferraris (also stock.) the guy i talked to at the beach traded an 09 shelby something or other for it he said the GT-R was like 70k new. i hope one day i can get one
