Kansas City twin turbo G8 goes 11.0@129mph

There's a shop here in KC called "House of Boost". They've recently fabbed up a G8 with a twin turbo kit using variable-vane Aerochargers. No oil lines, no wastegates, no annoyances. Everything is electronic and sealed. All controlled via a laptop. Stock engine, stock torque converter, stock tranny, stock suspension. 630whp.

Mods:

twin turbo kit (7 to 14 psi)
catback
slicks

Kind of makes me want to get one of these cars. Everything these guys make is quality. Check out their site www.houseofboost.com

Hmmm, i've never heard of this shop. I like the looks of the new G8, too. Pretty quick...

meh. ford needs to import the falcon. I'd rather have a FPV F6. Turbo'd straight 6. looks better too.

Yea, I was in Australia a few years ago and really liked the looks of the ford and chevy counterparts. A lot better than what they put out here......

7psi to 10psi on the street and 14 psi on the strip. I think 7psi is good for about 530whp. The turbos can support 17psi, but they don't want to push their luck until they add rod bolts and maybe a 3K stall TC. They just lowered the shift points (shifts are too high for the turbo powerband) about 500rpms. They're thinking 10.8s@132mph. They're out at the strip right now. DA is in the sea level range today.
