Impressive to say the least. Not a huge fan of rear-mounts and it seems that this guy has money to spend (turbo set-up on an automatic G sedan w/ "dubs"). The in car video's sound pretty good. It's so weird to hear the blow-off's come after shift points with the automatic. Too bad the guy's selling the car.
Why do people put the money into a turbo setup and then just sell the car....LAME
Dunno. Anytime Ive ever put time and money into a car or bike I whole-heartedly do so expecting to keep it for a long time. I never expect to sell it since as most of us know modded vehicles are tough to sell, well atleast for what you have invested in it.
Inexspensive yea 1995 for the sg1 kti what would you think all that install cost, with emanage and intercooler, Most likely close to what a bolt on kit cost..
I don't understand why he has an intercooler. One of the tauted advantages of a rear-mount turbo is that operating temperatures are lower (exhaust gases cool significantly as they travel along the length of the exhaust pipe) and therefore there is less transmission of heat to the compressor side of the turbo and therefore no need for restrictive, expensive intercoolers.

Um its not the just the exhaust that heats up compressing air causes heat. The purpose of an intercooler is to dissipate the heat.

Yea dumb big time to dump that kinda cake into a car then sell it. best way to lose money.. LOL
Most people are dissapointed with the performance they get for their money... I hope I dont have the same issue

Exactly, but not just the overall performance numbers, but the nature of the car's power. Not everyone is satisfied with turbocharged power. That's what happens unfortunately when you go into a project not knowing EXACTLY what you want/expect out of it.

Well, just as the exhaust is cooled as it travels down the pipe to the turbo, the compressed air supposedly gets cooled as it travels back up towards the engine. Again, I'm basing my statements on the claims of the proponents. I don't know if it's true or not.

This is true, but not insofar as to moot an intercooler.
