OMG....
So the titan is going to start sucking and breaking rather quickly and Chrysler will have even more ugly cars...Great.
Or Nissan is going to make Chryslers cars better looking than their own.......
But I guess it will keep Chrysler outta the pooper.

Really? Then why do their transmissions go to hell after 70,000 miles?
Chrysler will do what they did with Mercedes, use what ever technology they can get to improve Chrysler products and lower the quality of Nissan.
Chrysler made the Crossfire by copying the SLR, will a Dodge GT-R happen?

from what I read the other day chevy, ford, and Chrysler are losing a lot of money and Chrysler MIGHT be getting bought out by nissan. I will see if I can find the article again to post it.

ok couldn't find it, it was on MSN page a few days ago, all I could find now was that nissan doesn't want chrysler
I think it was dumb of the company's that have been pushing to build the biggest trucks and suvs now I drive down lomas (bunch of car dealerships in a line) every day and there is all these big trucks and suvs sitting on the lot and no one can afford to fill the tank.
so who gets to lose the money when truck sales drop even more?

At least you have the top 2 right
1. chevy
2. ford
3. toyota
4. nissan
5. dodge
The silverado is what I would buy for sure, although for a smaller truck I'de take the F150 or tundra. Titan has had numerous reliability issues and dodge is just dodge.. they look nice but they are POS

Toyota Tundra is a Toyota quality truck but not proven to be a real truck. Keep an eye out next time when you see them on the freeway. Just a SLIGHT bump would shake the bed because of their weak chassis. And if you search on youtube for frame stress tests, you will see exactly what kind of "truck" the Tundra is. I dont know about you, but to me, a truck should be strong and able to take a beat. Again... non fully boxed frame ftl hence they are at the bottom of my list.

I agree and dissagree. I agree that most consumer trucks should have a fully boxed frame because most people use them to get around town rather than for towing/hauling and a fully boxed frame helps ridgidity which we all knows makes for a better ride.
To me the tundra is a pretty boy truck.. a play thing.. not really a truck I'de want to tow/haul with and I dont think most of the people who buy them use them that way either, yet toyota built it like the Heavy duty chevys/fords and used a C-channel under the bed and a fully boxed frame for the cabin... With the plan that the fully boxed frame would keep the ride acceptable but used a c channel frame under the bed so that it would be strong but have more give to it.. which is supposedly better when your towing extremely heavy loads... I dont quite get why you want some give.. but thats the way pretty much every HD truck is built and supposedly its better (someone with some more info can chime in here). If you have seen the video where both trucks are going over a very bumpy road and the tundra looks like the bed is swaying, its because of the c-channel.. also its not as ridgid of a frame overall but its not supposed to be.. I know this sounds wierd because in our world of cars more ridgidy is almost always better. In comparison every small/medium sized truck these days uses a fully boxed frame.. the silverado.. the F150 I believe even the Ram 1500 uses a boxed frame.. because people who buy those trucks are rarely hauling heavy loads and they want the best ride.

Yea very true. My mentality towards the Tundra and the Taco are play trucks. But I just dont get the point of full size truck if you dont plan to do heavy duty work or not capable. I think you're right about the c channel thing BUT that's not exactly what I wanted to explain about Tundra's weak chassis. It's the frame that twists, not the bed. Look at the youtube link and you will see how weak Tundra's frame is. I mean they aren't jello but just not tough enough for me. Non fully boxed ftl...
Tundra crash test
I'm still trying to find the Ford...

you will be suprised how many things mercedes uses that chrysler designed
and if the crossfire was based on a slr everyone on earth would buy the crossfire for its 30-40k pricetag and slr performance

Maybe I am thinking wrong Mercedes. What was the little two seater that the chicks and old men seamed to like back in the 90's. I was thinking SLR, was it SLK?
Crossfire used same chassis and engine design, even went to the supercharged engine (Kompressor in Mercedes)
