A few reasons:
1. You don't get to be worth 200billion by wasting a ****load of money on flashy cars (and houses, and boats, etc). NBA players, take note.
2. If you drive something flashy, people might notice you. If you're ultra-rich you want to be incognito when you're out by yourself. Too many people out there who might want to harm/kidnap you. What's better for low-key than a Volvo 240 wagon (I know, I used to have one).
3. Not everyone is as materialistic as everyone here is.
4. You can bet that all of these guys have nicer houses, boats, and furniture than any of us do..
5. Not everyone is an automotive enthusiast...
6. 99% of the time these people are being driven around in limos anyhow...
Some other thoughts:
1. Michael Dell is

. Because no matter how much or little money you have, the H2 is still a piece of crap.
2. When someone comes up to the Ikea guy and makes fun of his car, he then buys a ferrari (cash) and then T-bones it with his volvo just to piss that person off.
3. No surprise that the Wally-worlders have American pickups. Are you surprised? I'm not.
