New NISSAN TITAN NISMO CONCEPT

Dou you guys like it?

I think it looks pretty good, like the Harley edition F150 or the SRT-10 Dodge RAM.Just wondering if it has some performance under the hood to match its looks?

the body flares are overexaggerated

IMO simply lower it, remove the lip from the front fascia(but keep the sporty front end look) and add some more low profile side skirts and a nice beefy sounding dual exhaust....oh and throw an SC under the hood

my thought would be, would it still be as fucntional as the original Titan(ie- the 9k lb towing capacity)??

I agree.... even in its tricked format, it would still be functional to haul stuff, unlike the SRT-10. There is a disclaimer stating when you buy the SRT-10 not to haul with this truck. Which would make me wonder why am i forking out all this money to have a fast truck that can't haul no more than sevral bags of grocery's around? Just doesn't equate to me.....

well for the SRt10 consider it is the Viper motor...while its a 500hp monster, point blank the motors powerband is not setup for towing big loads so I guess truthfully we can't complain. but I'm wondering if Nissan keeps the original V8 in there, I hope they find a way to add more power and make it a contender(SRT10 or at least the Lightining), but not sacrafice the towing/carrying capability. although with the lower suspension I'd assume we should expect some to be lost.

if you buy a truck like this you buy it to haul @ss, not haul lumber and concrete blocks. this is a nice truck inted for those who want a performance based sports truck. i dont know anyone in their right mind who would spend an @ss load of cash on an srt-10 ram to haul a boat.... take that money and get a heavyduty truck.

i think the truck looks absolutely beautiful...if i had my way id sell them in nismo traditional colors of either black, red, silver/darkgray, and maybe a white color. the grille kinda irks me tho...and the headligts would look very aggressive with an AE style trim on it with black. id love to see this come boosted, it would be a nice competitor for the next lightning and maybe srt-10 ram.

If Nissan doesn't intend to put the truck into competitive racing, there shouldn't be any "nismo" products for it. aka rice

Are any Altimas in competitive racing?

There is a Nismo package Altima you can get from Nissan ,no performance upgrades, unless you call stickers, oil cap, sideskirts, mesh wheels performance. More of a gimmick then a performer, salesman tried to sell one to me since my Maxima sounded "sporty" when i drove up to the dealership, he assumed i wanted to trade up.....LOL! Not in a million years!

Oh i am sorry it comes with a "NISMO" air intake ,, which really isn't a NISMO intake at all, just a AEM intake with a NISMO sticker. Nissan should be a shame of themselves....

I agree with you 100%...but the sad fact is that they do.
When i think of something that wears a NISMO badge i think of a ride that has been tuned in all aspects of performance and handeling.

When Nissan offers stupid gimmicks like this , it waters down the NISMO image very much. Because then you get people slapping that badge on any NIssan vehicle almost like the Honda boys slapping Type R stickers on there rides! So and !

i think it looks horrible...IMO trucks should do what they're meant to do...if you want go fast, buy a car....if you want to haul or tow things, buy a truck..it's as simple as that...never in a million years would i buy a Ram SRT-10 or a F-150 Lightning...cars can go a lot faster than heavy trucks and in most cases wont eat as much gas at the same time...

its a different type of speed, thats like saying if you want to go fast dont by a car, buy a bike...driving a 350z isnt the same speed like in a SL55, or driving an M3 isnt like driving an enzo...all these cars are fast in their own category. some like the idea of a fast truck, i kinda lke the idea. i lik trucks and one of the things i dont care much about them is their lack of speed/performance... a lightning is for someone that loves PU trucks and wants something sporty.

yeah but have you ever driven a titan?? i have and that 5.6 MOVES...i wouldn't need any more speed than that and most people dont either...i just think lowering a truck completely negates the purpose of it and since it has as much ground clearance as a car, it might as will be one...but instead it's just like an obese car that eats a lot of food....
now i understand that there's something different for everyone and that many people like the idea of 'fast trucks' but i'm definitely not one of them..

Nismo has a SC that is supposed to be released this fall for the Titan- 490HP and 485lbs of TQ of total power with the blower. Its a Vortech blower, so imagine some pulleys, Banks exhaust system, headers and some tuning and you should be in the close to 600HP.

Titan is THE only Nissan I like currently - rest of their line up is complete garbage.

I love my Titan, but the thought of having to pay for Premium Gas with a supercharger scares the pooh out of me.
