That would be cool. The NW is so vast that its hard to get people together. I live in central Wa.

There are 2 other people I know ( one in person, the other on just by threads posting) who live 2-3 hours north from me. RR5 and MaximaSE86.

I'm down with the meet and I'll let the other two know also.

I repeat...post this interest on nwnissaninfiniti.com. That's were the majority of maxima guys lurk. They aren't that active anymore, but still check out that site. If I were in Wa, I'd be up for it too.

Good luck with it.

I am up for a meet again. Maybe by that time I will have lowered it.

Be sure to let Doughboy know as he can let everyone else know that does not check the site much.

MSU is in Vancouver, WA so it seems we could plan a meet around Portland, then a second one around Seattle.

Is there anyone else still in the Portland area?

Haven't had a meet in a long time. Hopefully, in the next couple of months I will get my Max back on the road. I might be able to roll up to Seattle depending on the circumstances.

Just for reference, Sunday is usually the best day to have meets. There are rarely ever traffic problems or big events in a city and most people are free. It's OK to skip church once in a while to do something, IMO.

Ya it only takes me about 3 hours to drive from seattle to portland without stopping so I would be down for a Portland meet if its big and not just a handful of cars depending on the date which is decided. But ya Stance Wars and Tailored Seattle will be something fun that we should all try and plan for and its way off in the summer time lol Sunday's could work for me too.

I will lay down with the Continental DWS tire I have. Did really well on the ice and snow. Only slide a little when making really hard turns

hehe that's all good, the aforementioned Subaru AWD belongs to the wifey anyhow. Damn, son, Subaru AWD and studded tires, FTMFW! Puts my GA with normal allseasons to SHAME!

but when I get me a max, I will be getting the Continental DWS tires put on it. Everything I read is stellar.

Ha!

I have a BMW AWD with Toyo Observe Garit snow tires designed for sports cars. It also has hill descent control and the cold weather package (heated seats, pass through ski bag, headlight washers).

actually, I preferred the Nokian studded tires I had on my FX35, but I got a good deal on these Toyos. Next set will be Nokians for sure. Best snow tires I have ever used.

haha, nice...I was just messing around.

If it makes you feel better, it is an e46 BMW with 120k miles, so it's not really an expensive car. I bought it with 101k for $12k and now it's worth maybe $9k? I think you could buy a killer 5.5 gen for that.

I was going to buy a 2006 Subaru Legacy Wagon, but the local dealership would not budge on a trade in value for my FX35. The trade-in KBB was $18,500. They offered me $16k. I refused to take anything less than $18k and I ended up walking out. I put the FX35 on craigslist the following day and sold it four days later for $20,500.

So, I talked with MrGone about his e46 AWD and decided I would take a shot at one. I have been happy with it so far.

So what your saying is that you are still driving the truck that leaks. Hurry up and finish that swap, it has been how many months?

I fixed the leak tyvm! And I got the parts car in November... but the guy that was helping me with it suffered a shoulder injury and was down for a month.

I would be down for a meet in Portland. My Max is falling apart now. Ir has gotten so beat up. I would love to see some Maxes that are nicer.
I had so many plans that 2 kids don't really allow for anymore.

I too am down for a Portland meet. Hopefully something can get solidified. I have been to some really good meets at some of the McMenamin's like Edgefield or the Kennedy School. On my end is the Cornelius Pass Roadhouse. Just a thought... I would like to meet some other Maxima owners. I am really enjoying my 20th Ann.
