Southerner needs some tourist input

Heres the deal, the fam (parents, sister, neice & nephew) are headed to Wister Canada 2nd week of April. What are the must see things in Seattle, or Vancouver or in between? So far on the list are the fish market in Seattle, and the Space Needle.
Yall got any thing for me?

Oh ya don't forget we have a couple new stadiums down here too Safeco field is awesome and same for Qwest field too... Weather looks crappy for Friday and Saturday but clears up Sunday & Monday. Have fun.

The Seattle Fun Center is quite exquisite, umm... there is Stevens Pass if you are into skiing for a bit, there are lots of leaves falling all over, there are a bunch of casinos especially around the malls, like the Alderwood Mall, or the Super Mall.

I honestly now that I think about it, need to go out more.

Can hop a ride on one of the ferries. EMP sucks for the money you pay. Plenty of shopping places in downtown around Westlake Mall. You can do the Seattle underground tour. Many parks too.

I spent 25 years in Seattle and have always had a hard time recommending tourist things to people, but here's a few.

You can take a ferry up to Victoria BC and check it out. Or swing down to Portland and have some good micro brews and visit the strip club capital of the US.

I assume you mean Whistler, B.C.?

Seattle is a four hour drive each way, not including border times.

Funny how this is one of the most active threads we have in this local section. What's the deal? I see you Northwest folks post in other threads all the time, why so little activity on our local section? Funny I almost made a thread about it until I saw that someone actually posted today lol.... Let's pick it up fellas and possibly a lady or two.

People typically use the local forum instead.
