I'm guessing EB quit paying the bill. It never did officially get transferred. If I can't get a hold of him, Noz has a contingency site.

Zack thought that may be the case. Hopefully we can still get nwmaxima up and running. It would be nice to have some time to change to the other site and not all of a sudden.

Oh lame, perhaps NW Maxima could merge here? Haha, this section of the forum is pretty dead and it would be nice to have some local NW guys posting here

I sure hope we can get a hold of EB, I'd hate for all of us to lose our threads/info. from that site. And with the meet coming up in a month, people may start to wonder if it's still happening. Good luck with this.

I found EB's number. I've left him a voicemail to see if I can get the PIN so I can pay for the site. This will at least bring it back up and maybe allow us back up the site (I hope).

Last time I did talk with him, he was working for Xerox/MSFT. He got laid off a few months back IIRC. I don't know if he found something new or what he's doing to be honest.

So good news. NWMaxima is back up.

The interesting part. We are going to transition from it anyway. It just makes more sense to move it. Are audience is more diverse now. Also this lets us be independent of EB and doesn't burden him with keeping the site up. There is a thread on nwmaxima about it, and will also be a thread on nwnissaninfiniti.

Holy crap I'm glad to see that this section does get some local attention...It's been pretty slow in here lately glad to everybody. So I guess it's bout time I signed up on NW maxima but the .org seemed to usually get more attention but I gotta stay updated bout local stuff too... Good to see everyone...

It is pretty quiet around here when the local sites aren't working. The org if full of great information. The local sites will give you more info. about meets.

You will need to sign up at http://www.nwnissaninfiniti.com since nwmaxima is merging in with that new site.
