I have gone in the past. I missed all of the ummm...fun last year.
Many of the cars there are 240s, but there are a lot of very nice cars, too. Some very nice 300zxs, G35s, etc. Classic Datsuns (510s, 240z, even an early 70s Skyline). There are also cars you probably won't see anywhere else. I recall seeing several R32 and R33 Skylines, a real S15 and that old Skyline.
If you like Nissans, it is worth going to see. I have never had any problems with the guys and gals from NWNissans, but like I said, I wasn't there last year. Since most of the NWN members are drifters and 240s owners, it does have the appearance of being pro-rear wheel drive.
I have been considering going if any of the NW crew want to go (I love old Datsuns), but I am sure EB, Ian, Jason and some others will want to pass.

I went last year. There were lots of cars, some nice, some multi-colored/beaten, but overall a good show.
The Maxima section didn't really get too much attention. Not many people even walked down to look at our cars.
I think the excitement he is referring to is the NWN crew saying how immature we (NWMaxima.com) were being. While leaving, a few Maxima guys did burnouts on the way out of the park. Not really a big deal, considering the Skyline's were having a dueling backfire contest or something.
Overall, nice show. If you like the other Nissan's it may be worth it to you. But to me, all I really know about are Maxima's, so I wasn't too interested in the other cars.

I still may go...And if I do I probly wont do my asswhole burnout I was talking about.
You are right, there are plenty of nice rides to check out. It's just the average population of there meets drive me mad. I went to a NWN meet a couple yrs ago and left my hood up for people to take a look and when I came back to my car my battery holddown was loose. On the way home it managed to make it's way to the possitve terminal and my cai causing my electrical system to start shorting out. good thing I caught it in time. Never again at one of there meets will I leave my hood up and car unlocked while unattended.
And the fact they got mad about a couple maxima's leaving fast (including me) and doing small burnouts is BS when there were 240's drifting donuts in the back parking lot, drifting down the hill and loosing tires while going 100mph down I5
I'm still undecided, if a few of us are willing to go then i may.

I don't think anyone looked at my car at all when I was there. And, my car looks less "modded" now that I sold my gunmetal 17s and put on some 97 SE wheels.
I would like to go, it will depend on 1) my wife's work schedule, 2) the weather and 3) if I have enough money for gas. The way prices are, that is like $60-$70 in gas to make the trip. If the weather is bad, I don't really want to drive 500 miles in the rain, mostly on that hell hole I-5.

Well I no longer have my Max but I have my Alty. I am going and I am a mature front wheel drive VQ powered Nissan owner. I will definitely be interested in seeing other Maximas, Altima's, Infinti G's and M's too. I say we get up a group of cars and represent the Nissan Sedan family. So if any of you decide to go hit me up. We can roll in as a group. C-ya.

Dude, you should go. If the weather isn't terrible, I might even be able to drive up to like Yakima and meet you.

I'll be going...last year I was late and ended up parking towards the front so I think we should get there early this year and park in the first parking lot section...
Last year there was a full carbon fiber wide-body NSX from Oregon that showed up, a Saab and few RX-7s...plus the Skylines although no R34s I don't think. I enjoy seeing the RB26 swaps and the R33s and I had no problems with anyone there and I was the only Maxima when I arrived around 1 PM.
Everyone was pretty cool...if we were on the east coast we'd be in Maxima heaven but the NW is 240 RWD territory...good luck commuting Snoqualmie Pass in the snow or passing the your ride off as a "family car" to your wife after you've sunk thousands into it...Nissan rocks though. Maybe we'll see an R35?
Having a '98 VQ35 Maxima and a 96 Vortech Maxima side-by-side certainly can't hurt showing everyone what you can do with the Maxima...plus I'd like to sell the 98 as the wife has shut down the 500hp Turbo project for it
If anyone can help me drive my 98 VQ35 Max down there let me know as I'd like to have both of them there...so send me a PM if your Max is down or you don't want to show up in a Volvo

The only golden gardens i'm going to are the ones I pee on. I love Nissan, but hanging out with a bunch of trend followers isn't high on my list. Tell me when the 3rd gen Maxima meet is and i'll be there.

I know what you are talking about in the Northeast. I was in Jersey and the Maximas represented over there at meets, the track, we were all over. Well I will see you there. I will be there early (hopefully). Who is going lets start a list of who is going.

We had one a few years back. I think there were about 10 of us. I don't know where I put the pictures. They are on my home computer.
I am in Blue River, near Eugene, right now doing some training and I can't look up my photos.
Since I had a Datsun 510 before, I dig old Datsuns. I liked Golden Gardens, especially when we had about a dozen Maximas. It seems like there are fewer actual Maxima owners. Still Nissans/Infiniti, but fewer Maximas.
I can't add myself to the list right now because I want to see about the weather, money for gas and I need permission from the wife.

I can't do it this weekend, too much stuff going on with school, I really wish I could
I'd love to set up a local maxima meet on March 8th or 9th at Bellevue Community College, it's a weekend and they have a ton of parking lots and we wouldn't be disturbing anyone.

I hung out with a few guys from NW Nissans up in Isaquaah Washington. At least they group was cool. We hung out, ate burgers and then went on a little ride up, down and around some hills. Anyhow if any of you are in the Tacoma Washington area we are going to set up a convoy from Krispy Kreme.

Sukura-Con is that weekend. I might just drive thru, but then again, the crap they pulled on us last year is enough to forgo it.

I went last year with Jon94SE and lots of the 240 folk didnt seem like the nicest towards the maxima people. This year however I have a broken ankle at the moment which has made it impossible to work and I just bought my Maxima meaning I have NO money...but we'll see I wouldn't mind going.
