Used Engine + Transmission... scrap?

hey I've got a VQ30 from my 96 Maxima and an auto tranny from an '01. If I cant get them sold, does anyone know where I can get rid of them in the Portland metro area or what to do with this stuff? Are they worth anything to recyclers? Just want them out of my garage. Advice/ info is appreciated! Thanks

I saw some guy dump an engine on the ground at a wrecking yard on Columbia and take off, can't be too hard. Post it up on CL.

next to nothing... I'm not sure what its even worth- it needs a pan gasket, may need a new torque converter or more. Has 17,000 miles.

Transmission Exchange told me theyd take it for $40 on Monday 9-10, but if you want it for $40 I'll hold it until you can come get it within reason, paypal the money and I'll hold it.

just be aware it needs work, heres what I'm aware of:

'01 open diff
17k miles- vin/carfax confirmed mileage
-has valve body but needs to be re-installed, installation bolts may be missing (I can look for them if someone wants to buy)
-one wire on solenoid pack needs to be spliced (cut for diagnostics)
-occasional squealing under load, I believe it to be the torque converter
-very occasional delayed upshift 2-3
-tc usually wont stay locked up at operating temp
-casing inside and out look new, fluid looked great
-may need both cooler line flanges including both banjo bolts
