solar solutions

i know that solar solutions have been mentioned in various capacities in other threads, but i wanted to give an up-to-date shout out to them. yesterday i had my 99 max tint taken off by them and then re-tinted. the guy was very personable, friendly and efficient, and the tint looks sick. just wanted to give em much-deserved props. they were very professional and did excellent work.
i'll post pics later today; i'm at work now and the pics are on my computer at home.

they guy's in bedford... 330 south street. he charged me 100 bucks to remove my old tint - which took him forever, since it'd been on the car for like, 10 years. i felt so bad... the new tint looks unbelievable. he gives discounts if you mention the .org too..

170 to retint.

I aslo went to solar solutions this past June to get my 96 max tinted. The leather interior gets so hot in the summer time so i decided to get it tinted to prevent leather fading and cracking, and most of all to avoid some of the heat.

They only use SunTek Carbon film, which i've read is one of the good films in the market. They people there are Brazilian and treated me good.

I had the front, back, rear, and sunroof tinted for about $190. I got 35% which looks too light for me. I was hesitant because this was my first tint and dont want any tickets from the police.

Friend of mine went there last year after Sheldon had left, 35% film all around and 5% sunroof for 190.

I got mine done 2yrs ago when Sheldon was still there 35% film all around 5% sunroof for $170

Quality and service has been A+ under both ownerships

I went there also, make sure if you have a 6th gen that you have them cut around the rear window "bumps". I never even thought of it and it ended up bubbling all over the bumps. They did offer to fix it though so big thumbs up.

If you're going.. they do group deals. Someone on the LGT forums setup a group deal and I got all 5 windows tinted for 150... good work too.

SAme on a 5th gen. I actually dont mind, it doesnt look that bad and doesnt bother me that much. they offered to cut mine out too but didnt make that much difference to me, 2yrs later and it still looks ok over the bumps
