ZEX rated at crank?

I was doing some reading on other forums, and there is some debate about ZEX kits being rated at the flywheel. I compared Dynotune's recommendations with ZEX' for the same shot, and they seem to be on par with eachother. Dynotune recommends 47/26 jets for the 100 shot and zex recommends 46/26. Can anyone confirm if ZEX rates at the crank or the wheels? Anybody dyno a zex kit?

NX is a 52 for a 100 shot so I would say ZEX is at the crank, cuz I know NX is WHP.

Interesting. So that being said I could run a ZEX "100 shot" on my car and it would be about 80 wheel horsepower give or take since I'm an auto. My stock fuel pump should handle a 80 shot correct? JIME, you ran a 100 shot on a stock fuel pump right?

25 SHOT 35N/20F
50 SHOT 41N/24F
75 SHOT 46N/28F
100 SHOT 52N/33F
125 SHOT 57N/35F
150 SHOT 62N/38F
That's NX

55 HP: 32N / 17F
65 HP: 36N / 19F
75 HP: 40N / 21F
100 HP: 46N / 26F
125 HP: 54N / 30F
That's ZEX. As you can see ZEX must be rated at the flywheel. At least now I know. I'll be ordering ZEX' "100 shot" jets which will actually be around 75 to 80 wheel horsepower. I'm glad I found this out. Maybe this will help other people who buy a zex kit. I like the kit, but I wish every company rated the shot at the wheels.

NX recommends 62N/35F for 43psi of fuel pressure. That's what run and my afr is ~ 12.0:1.

I'll stick with a 75 shot for now. My point was that I have to order the 100 shot jets from ZEX to get 75 horsepower to the wheels which is what I thought I was running. Now I know to order one step above what I want to the wheels on zex kits.

Every company's jetting is different. I just buy jets from dynotune and run whatever combination I want. Almost all of the time the company's jetting turns out to be rich. You can gain some power by tuning using the fuel jets.

This works like a champ!

I know every company is slightly different. What I didn't know is that some companys rate at the flywheel and some rate at the wheels. I thought this whole time I had a 75 shot to the wheels, but it was actually more like a 50. Now by ordering zex' 100 shot jets, which corresponds to nx 75 shot jets, I'll get the desired amount. Hopefully this thread will help others who might be using a company that rates their shots at the crank.

By the way Krazy6, Thanx for the above jet calculator. I bookmarked that for reference. According to the calculation ZEX' "100" shot jets should be about 85 whp give or take.
