Spraying thru Every gear.

I want to put a 100 shot on my 5.5gen 6spd. It has ARP head+Rod bolts as well as JWT springs+retainers... so i know it will hold .

Anyways... Im not to familiar with Nitrous...

My friend had Nitrous in his WRX and he has it set up where... he has a switch for his "Bottle Heater" ( Whats that for and why) and then for it to Engage.... But even with both switches on it wont shot until he Goes WOT .
( This is Exaclty how i want my setup... Where i can have it all on... but only shot when i step down WOT) How does this work ??

Also I want my nitrous set-up to spray thru every gear.
Ex. On the WRX when he goes WOT im guessing it sprays 1 shot of the 75Wet that hes running... so Lets say 2nd gear roll @ 40mph... he WOT the car will spray and feel alot faster thru every gear until he hits 5th im guessing since that 75shot it done by then ?... since his car pulls the same way in 5th without the spray...( so is it becasue that 1 shot got used up in 2nd 3rd and 4th ??

I want my 100shot to go thru 2nd 3rd 4th and 5th... Is there something special i have to buy like a dual stage or something ?

If so what and whats the recomended brand and whats all the stuff i need ? im looking to buy this week since the cars getting tuned and EU'ed in 2 weeks or so ... so i want it all in at 1ce.

Oh and also since its activated when you go WOT... when happens when you switch gears and let off and hit it again ? isnt it suppoed to shot another shot ? Sorry but im new to this....

Thanks
-Q

alright man. the best thing i can tell you for now is too read...read....and more read. haha

there is so much info out there on this that you could answer most of the questions yourself

but lets see....first things first....start with a little shot. don't just start with the highest...get used to the little shots and step up to the bigger ones.

bottle heaters are used for heating the bottle. you want a bottle heater based off of pressure not temperature. this just allows the bottle to stay at optimal pressure for when you spray. usually around 1000 psi or so...right guys?

and yes...if you want to spray every gear then you will have a WOT switch at which point the nitrous will activate when at full throttle. but...i strongly advise a window switch. this will allow the nitrous to activate only at a certain rpm....say 3000 to 6400 or whatever you set it too. that way if you miss a gear your engine won't go BOOM!

and yes...at any point the rpm is in the range and at WOT nitrous will spray....

well i answered most of your questions....haha..but still search and read! its a great tool. i know because i'm installing nitrous and 00vi at the moment.

good luck!

like the guy before me said do a lot of reading. there's lots of good info in the faq's. as far as spraying goes, you don't want to spray longer than bout 15 to 20 seconds. and you don't want to spray under 3000 rpms.
if you are wanting to spray a shot bigger than 50 shot, then i would get one step colder plugs and a fuel pump.
dyno tune has a really nice window switch. i have one on my car and i have installed it on two others. what's really nice about it is that it'll use your tps to activate, you set your rpm window that you want to spray through, if you ever wanted to do a second stage it would control it, and it also has a gear lock out so that if you went to the track you could lock out first gear so you wouldn't spin off the line.
