Oxy-Hydrogen Generator for a Car

Any thoughts on the following info?

Generator
http://savefuel.ca/hydrogen/smallpro...id=carproducts

Here is a website that sells the plans for $49.99
http://www.runyourcarwithwater.com

I found free plans on line but the setup I would want to run is 93% water 7% gas to prevent rust. I have not been able to find those plans. I also don't want to do this kind of work myself.
Link to plans http://www.spiritofmaat.com/archive/feb2/carplans.zip

I just searched Google for "run your car on water"
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&c...er&btnG=Search

A lot of interesting stuff on water

I am a fan of Hydrogen boosters in general. No idea if that unit is any good or not. Lots of research out there showing the increases in power, better emissions, and mileage. www.eagle-research.com is another site with what appears to be a good unit. You can get the plans, or the kit.

Running one of these, to get the most benefit, you will need to do a bit of tuning for it. For example the timing will need to change. Gasoline vapor burns ~ 4,000ft/sec hydrogen at 40,000. I read the BMW hydrogen/gas hybrid has its timing at TDC.

HA HA HA HA! Firstly, only someone that makes a cold air intake out of rain gutter tubing would look into this! Secondly if this worked you think everyone would still be running cars that use gas? 75$ for the plan, and it would take several engineering majors to build. This I know you do not have because you put rain gutters on your car!

Woops

I tried burning just hydrogen and oxygen in my last 3.0, but it made too much heat in the cylinders.

So I went back to race gas....

That is one messed up piston!!

Hydrogen burns approximatly 10 times faster than gasoline. One needs to adjust the timing accordingly. BMW run's theirs right at TDC.

The hydrogen that most HHO generators put out is not that much. It's just enough to help in the combustion process. Yes, with hydrogen injection you can get more power and better mileage.

The only problem is that the O2 sensors pick up on the extra oxygen and the ECU dumps extra fuel to compensate. There goes your fuel savings.

The biggest hindrance to fuel savings is the catalytic converter. It needs a ratio of 14.7:1 to operate properly. But, in order for your car to get best mileage, you need to run it at much leaner mixtures like 16:1 or 18:1. The cat converter would not last too long under those mixtures so we are stuck with an inefficient process in order to keep the EPA happy.
