Hi! I'm in Austin! I've been posting recently concerning my steering hose. OK, so I'm not an enthusiast, but I do enjoy my Max! I'd love to join in a cruise ...if you allow girls w/not a lot of car speak but interested in keeping up! G

I can't imagine why you wouldn't be welcome to join

My circumstances have changed slightly (and hopefully only for a week or so) but I have to do some major sub-frame suspension overhauling. The max is still on the go but I need to address this before something big comes from it.

Anywho, is someone in particular setting anything up in the foreseeable future?

They give you an estimate of time for completion?

10 days, then Im going to have to tune it again so I figure a couple of days for that. Hopefully I can scrounge some extra cash up to get it on the dyno to do the fine tuning.

Its not about how modded you are, just the fact that you enjoy getting together to talk cars and enjoy each others company.

Well, once we can get more confirmed driveable rides I guess we could go from there.

Modded is short for modified such as aftermarket parts installed, ie performance or show.

Well I'm finally back on the road! Got the control arms replaced and wheel bearings, and got it back from Austin's Finest Alignment... the only thing that is left on the front end that hasn't been swapped out yet is the sway bar

Gotta drop her off at the tranny shop Friday to figure out this shudder that's happening at certain speeds though.

How's everyone else sitting for ATX?

Got my new blower on the car, still have some odds and ends to take care before firing it up. Looking to get it on a dyno this weekend or next week.

Still got the Maxima (it's just older and paint more faded) and wouldn't mind meeting up again at some point.

Whats up guys, just thought I'd update y'all on some events going on over at CentexVQ

On Saturday we're holding a Tech-day at one of our member's houses. From the look of the list, it looks like we'll try to fit in fluid flushings, coilover installs, camber kit installs, and more. If you're interested just check out the thread on CentexVQ

http://www.centexvq.com/forum/index.php?topic=788.0

Also, there is a Hill Country Cruise on November 14th.

Here's the link:

Tranny reinstall complete... replaced TQ (again.... :/ ) pretty much smoothed out... still got a minor shudder here and there but not nearly what it was before... about 95% of problem solved IMO... Anywho heading up to Dallas today and will be back later in the week... I'm up and running and am down for a cruise whenever....
