Sounds good to me. Count me in.

You're talking about the location near Sea Island, correct? Good spot, I think most of us are in the NW area.

Thanks for organizing this dude.

I guess Chemist31 was too busy to organize the meet.

Do you guys accept out-of-towners? That is me.

haha... maxinone just got to before me. All we needed was someone to pick a starting point.

Of course out-of-towners are welcome. You get to SA a lot? Do it!

I have been to SA 3 times only. But since I recently learnt about the Three Sisters, I want to go again real bad. But I need to get more info and know when will be the best time and the route to take. Also, how many miles is the whole trip and where is the best starting city and ending city. I would like the scenic view. Let me know if you guys will cruise the Twisted Sisters. I would be glad to join. Most definitely. Keep me informed. Hey, by the way, what is the zip code of where you guys hope to have the meet? Want to see how far from me.

Sorry men. I am talking about the Twisted Sisters. I think it is RR335, RR336, RR337. Off the Hill Country. I wish someone could give me a lot of details about that route. I got to tour it whether with a Max cruise or by myself, touring and enjoying nature.

If there is going to be a cruise along that strip, COUNT MY MAX IN.

na we dont get any static from the v8 guys...theyre all cool......biffs is far though and you do have to pay 5 bucks but you get a 5 dollar coupon for biffs....so theyre just basically making you spend at least 5 bucks there, but it gets you two beers...so im fine with it.....

Ya man now that i think about it, i made a mistake. it is a 4th gen. you seen it? there is also a green 4th gen w/ gold rims that come to my school so i guess they live on the southwest side.

Had a great time tonight guys, good job setting that up. this was my first time going to any sort of meet and i'm impressed. i'd for sure like to make as many as i can. If i see some other max's i'll leave them a note.

Sorry guys, but I have to post this here because this it is the best place I could get answers from.

I want to go drive along the Twisted Sisters roads to enjoy the scenery and rekindle my spirits. I am coming from Houston.

My questions to people who have knowledge or experience about this route.

What route should I take? Houston to ? To ? To ? To ? And back to Houston. What are the best little towns to spend the night at? What little town has the best food? About lodging, I will probably do a breakfast in bed place. Any suggestions? While in San Antonio, how many miles is it to go through all the roads and come back to SA?

Any input would be greatly appreciated. Reply here or pm me. I would really appreciate it.

And please, let me know when the next meet will be in SA. I would like to plan my trip so that I get the chance to attend a meet before driving back to Houston.

No worries man...

I make the drive to Houston (Sugarland) on a routine basis. Coming from Houston, easiest & quickest way would be to take I-10 to SA and follow that baby all the way. Pass downtown SA and you'll see an exit for Hwy 151 to Sea World. That puts you in my part of town, NW side.

Sounds like this is gonna be a weekend getaway. I have limited experience in this area and have not driven those particular roads before, but I do know that Bandera, TX is a great little town. Could probably find a good B&B there. A bit further away from there would be Fredericksburg & Boerne. Both are pretty scenic and have a good number of B&B's. Those are out on I-10, past SA towards EP. Less than an hour's drive from downtown SA.

Hopefully this is a good starting point for you. PM if you have any more specific questions, I'm happy to help.

As far as the next meet, not sure when exactly. I don't know if this will be every 2 weeks or once a month. I'm sure others will vote in on this.

Well, ya'll let me know when and where r u guys gonna meet. My Maxima is kinda ugly right now since I just wrecked it about 2 months ago(flat black hood), but its hitting the booth in 2 weeks.
