Guys any ideas for a meet??
I do wanna goto the Legends, I heard it was pretty nice.
First thing is first, a member list. I know there's a mega list of where everyone is from, but allot of those guys aren't active anymore, and some have moved away. To get on the list, PLEASE PM me with your username, city (those two are a must), name and car are optional though. Don't be afraid if your on the border, the more the merrier (yes, that means you KCMO, South Nebraska and North Oklahoma guys get your butts in here!!)

I hate oil burners, I'm hoping that once i get those sensors fixed that, that problem will go away. My dad said back when he first bought it, there was no problem with leaking oil. If this continues, I may find an engine to swap it out with.
Face it, you own a VQ, when you brought your car you should've accepted teh fact that you were gonna be losing oil... Like I did, I have an oil leak, just check your oil more often lol...
Anyways, it seems that we got a nice list of people in here now, and it's about high time to start planning a meet. I am aiming for the end of the month at some restaurant which will be up to discussion.
Cities? Well Manhattan is pretty lame, so count mine out, how about our good ol capital, Topeka? Any good places to meet there?

I vote for Hooters (at least for you young guys under 50) (yes, I'm 65 and still thumpin'), but there are about a bazillion eating places on the West side, down Wanamaker Ave., just off the interstate. Lots of parking lots along that area, too.

(Side note... Looks like we got most of the major cities, looks like we're missing someone from Lawrence (eww)).
There was a guy in Lawrence with a red 99 SEL auto - I think his forum name was bhunter, but I haven't heard from him for a long time. I bought his old hood.
I'm game for going to the track on a Friday night for test n tune, and the meet could be on Saturday and however you guys wanna plan that is fine with me.. I'm just curious thats all so those that are putting this together let us know the details..
That track night is on a thursday night, I've already made planes to head up there, but I'm not leaving Manhattan till 6pm on that thursday, me and my friend's GTI are too closely matched, we have to test our skills on the track to decide who's faster.
I still want to do like a meet and eat though and I would like some more feedback from the witchita guys on places to go, THAT AREN'T NEAR KELLOGG (dear god that road is a nightmare, but if you think that's the best place to meet, then off of kellogg we shall go...). I'm more lenient towards Wichita to try and tempt the guys outta OK on coming up, the more the merrier.

How about the Hooters in Wichita on the 24th, lets say oh err around 7pm, so I can get there early and set up a table for 10, also there seems to be a mall or some sort across the street with a huge parking lot to take pics n such.
I cannot do anything on a Thursday night either. I have basketball games.

Thursdays don't work as well as fridays for me either, I have stuff to do @ 5am. M,T,T,F so I would need to leave @ 9pm which would be gheyyyy...
And Kellogg sucks! I was there last weekend trying to get some gas, I exited offa 35 and yes it has improved in my one year in KS, but it's still bad.
I just picked hooters cause it was a name that someone dropped, you have any recommendations? Also, does anyone have any problems with the 24th or Wichita?

I'm still around. Still have the red 99 SEL and now have a '90 300ZX as a toy and money pit. I visit the old kansas maxima website once in a while and it is dead as a doornail. I would be up for a meet somewhere....

But I feel yah, my car has been lagging around, but I blame it on the STUPID 91 grade up here. I'm bringing some friends to the track, so I can show em da bizness....

There's a red 99 Max in Olathe KS and one in Topeka - that's the ones I've seen. Both had the tan interior. 5spd? For what it's worth, the fastest Maxes are automatics... mine is a 2001 Infiniti VLSD with mods.
100* ? Try wrapping up in a helmet and fire jacket in long jeans, sit inside a sealed car in the sun for an hour on hot asphalt (135*) in staging lanes. You might change your opinion.
Gas in Kansas is crap octane, but I use VP Racing 109 anyway.
I won't be going anywhere on the 24th, so have fun.

Anybody else besides grey99 goin to Heartland Park tomorrow night? So far I got a GTI, 3kgt and an Impala rollin w/ me from Manhattan.
I'm not going to be at Heartland on the 16th now - I'm still going on the 23rd if the weather is dry. Stuff is going on tomorrow - I've got a front clip off a 13K mile 2008 Maxima bought for the engine and I need to find storage for it.
Dunno exactly what year but it's the 8th Gen (not SS , i wish though, that would be a legitimate race)
