Anyone in Dallas have a Consult II?

Or for those who have had their timing bumped to 17 degrees, who did you get to do it?

Not many people are going to have that. Your best bet is to just go to the dealer and slip one of the techs there some money to do it. I got lucky and 6spd_hayes bumped mine using uprev cipher at maxus.

But just to let you know, the timing advance really made no difference on my car...

There's a thread about the timing advance, they dynoed about 3whp and 4wtq gain through much of the band. Not bad for a cheap mod.

My friend has the Cipher setup for his Up-Rev. I'm going to try to get him to advance my max, i'll let you know if it works or not

hey I had my timing done at ennis last night. I met the clubtitan.org dudes up there they were having a meet -- they all had Cipher. Hooked it up and my timing was -1 (14) They bumped it 3 to 17* ftw I noticed a difference definitely. The engine sounds like its running healthier/stronger, the throttle feels more responsive and torquey, and after a few runs -- my trapspeeds went from 100.X (before) to 101.X (after timing advance)

yah if the butt dyno can't tell the diff it's not worth it. So it's a small mod that makes a diff. Make sure you use high grade premium gas.. shell, chevron, exxon etc.. or it be tappin. Atleast we have 93 octane in texas unlike the 91 max in cali etc..
