First Houston Maximas Meet & BBQ
Alright fellas, it's been awhile since the UH meet...which was a decent turnout btw...so let's have a bigger one going. I'm not going to try to plan this one too far ahead since that doesn't seem to work too well for whatever reason. I spoke to Michael about this a few days ago and we seem to agree that it'll be a nice meet. What I have in mind, is a BBQ meet at Memorial Park. There's a street...or loop rather inside the park grounds appropriately named "Picnic Loop." Along this loop are small parking lots with nearby area for BBQ's, etc. There are public grills that we can use...or someone can bring their own if that's what we agree on. Now from what I can remember, those parking lots in the Loop are good for a dozen cars or more. So it'll be nice if we can all park together. I'll swing on by this week to scout the area and report back for better info. I think it'll be nice just to chill and talk cars/audio/whatever with the club, and have a bite to eat while we're at it.
Now, the date in mind is May 24th, from 10AM til whenever. I don't want to show up too late since the lots/grills are on a first come first serve basis. There ARE reservations available, but I don't think our group will be big enough to justify paying for one.
Overview map of the park:

Now that we have time and date, next comes the topic of food. Not entirely sure about the club funds, but I'm willing to pitch in and grab some stuff for the BBQ. Someone can bring chips, sodas, hamburger buns, etc if they want. Just post up if you want to chip in, no pressure if you don't want to. Main point is to have a good time and just relax . I can grab some hot dogs and buns for the BBQ. As for the grill, there ARE public ones, but I'm not sure on its condition. Again, I'll have better info once I go and scout the place. But IF need be, can anyone bring their grill? It doesn't have to be big or anything.
So that's basically it. Go ahead and post up if you can make it and what you want to bring if you wish to do so.

For those wondering, this will be our first major meet in lieu of the failed install day. Lets get a good turn out guys.

hit up ecsdesignz. its a really simple install (~1 hour - adjustments) and he said he would hook up the members with discounts. i would offer to help but i'm not doing it without air tools. haven't seen delvin on here or another forum in a minute...
