my reason i love the coupe is the lines. the same reason i love my 4th gen.. on the other hand who couldnt love a black on black 3.5L 6MT SE coupe (<<the first one i saw looked like that). either way its a nissan and thats where i'll stand.
oh and guys. clean or not it doesn't matter. mine prob won't be clean since i spent all day every day since this past sunday putting my stereo together for this weekend (SQ rules are a PITA). lets get a better turn out than last time, so i can change my sig lol.

My dad thinks the noise on my max is the throwout bearing. I got home and had him listen to the noise, and I noticed that when I push down the clutch the noise goes away for awhile.
i took first in the car show for import midsize, yay! and congrats goes out to the rest of Nightlife (c.c. i'm in) and S.W.A.T. we took multiple trophies in various catagories, hooray! and thanks to anyone who was there to enjoy and support the show, if not we were well represented with my 4th gen and my buddies 6th gen

all this good news!! now for some bad. eric and i lowered my 99 on wednesday and now i have a 'cv' clicking going on(?)
eric- any ideas? i'm going to jack her up now and take a look..
is it clicking in turns? clicking is a very common noise with the K sports...check all the mount points for looseness and make sure all the stuff is tight...I forgot to mention to tighten everything up. It was late and I r was tired.

well, when they called me and said that it was totalled, they were talking about the wrong car, idiots.
so when i went and looked at it there was a white 5.5 gen totalled, with my baby sittin right next to it! its wierd because the window was broken out, but nothing else was damaged... they removed my org stickers on the side windows and my LC sticker in my back window. they didnt put many miles on it, they ran it out of gas a ditched it in a parking lot in north omaha.
i got her back friday, finally, after the police did what ever they needed to do. she is cleaned up and i decided to get her in to a body shop and get all of the little blemishes taken care of.

it was the pass side window, front. but yeah, its been replaced and tinted already.
Why would the tards do that with your car?
took your car for a test drive then throw it away? doesn't make sense
but, anyways, glad you got your car back. now make her more perfect.

eric- no click in turns. everything is tight. i havn't even tried to launch or gone over 45mph, but i think the extra rolling mass of the 17's made the cv's get weaker then tada clunk clunk. i'm going into nissan to see if the axles are under any warranty i havnt even driven my car that much since the work was done back in 12/5/07. those axles only have 2-2 1/2 months of driving on them.. iounno more to come...

news of the day, yay :/... nissan, of course, isnt open. so i cant find out if my axle is under waranty. and i have an interview @ 112th and giles tomorrow morning. i hope the beater makes it. oh, and i need to get ahold of my recruiter wooohooo.

Bad news here, my 99 Max began having starting issues on Friday then sunday night went DOA. Now it's sitting at Vanderbilt apts. I have power in the battery and we even tried jumping it but no luck. The starter is just clicking now, also I here the fuel pump kick on and I checked most of the fuses. So I am guessing that I may need a new starter, from what I've read on the .org it seems to be a easy fix. Let me know if you have any idea before I drop the $$$ on a new starter.
chech the grounds on the alt. and starter. when i had to take mine in they replaced both and several bad grounds.. g/l i get to take mine in to nissan tomorrow to get a new axle, yay.
