Anybody know of a good tint place? I want something with at least a 5 year warranty, and a reasonable cost. Preferably near midtown/NW omaha. If there is a good shop near benson that would be perfect.
And what should I expect pay? From what I've read only it should cost around $150.
matt- i'm going to keep my eye out. i've seen you/ your car on the interstate b4 so i'll recognise it for sure.

anywhere but Mr Tint. they put a huge dent in my roof when they tinted the sunroof and the tint is fading... f the warrenty, im just going to have it stripped and retinted.
i think i paid $180 with the sunroof, so $150 sounds aboot right for just the windows.
I've replaced a lot of parts on my car but don't have any performance mods yet. Just had to replace my tensioner pully.
I'm looking at an intake and maybe at Y-Pipe

Y-Pipe is by far one of the most cost effective mods. I wouldn't suggest bothering with an intake, but thats just me.

it was funny i had my cf trunk and teh fireman's axe literally bounced so hard right off it when they were trying to get into my trunk that it almost took him with it. that day sucked. but i'm happy the car is gone...i likes my 03 alot...even if it's a massive money pit.
i'd love to take her, my 03, out to ne, as my father and stepmother still live there but with the price of gas flying is so much cheaper...and i love having such low miles on her...
I called two places today to get info on tinting, but not quite sure which one I should choose.
Option 1: Its at 60th and Ames, don't remember the exact name. Its a small shop joined with a small used car lot. They told me $150 w/ warranty. It's a few blocks from my work so it is very convenient. They also do other stuff like window replacement and car audio, and he said they've been around for 7 years.
Option 2: Auto Glass Tint on 88th and L. Quoted me $170 for a high quality tint with warranty. They've been around for 30+ years and all they do is window tinting, nothing else.
Which one should I chose? If the AGT place was closer i'd go with that, but the cheaper one is much more convenient for me. I'm just a little worried that it might now be as good.
And I've finally gotten used to the 5spd, I still occasionally stall out on accident but I know what i'm doing wrong. I'm really liking the power and have gotten decent gas mileage. Just a few things that have me a little concerned. Their is a quiet ticking/squeaking sound that doesn't really bother me too much, but I don't remember hearing it when I bought it. The air vents buy the windshield rattle sometimes, but I can't hear it over the sound system. And there is no dinging sound when I leave my lights on which sucks, my battery went dead a few nights ago
And the seller seemed really honest and it seemed like he took good care of it, but i've come across a few things that he didn't mention. The CD player has skipped/errored a few times, and he said there was no problem. And I pointed out that one tire looked low, and he said there was nothing wrong with it. I checked it a few days after I bought it and the PSI was 10lbs, and has slowly been losing pressure since I bought it. There is no way he couldn't know about it. And the tire pressure in the other tires was 40,25,35, very uneven. The one with 40 even has a bulge on the side, but it still drives fine at 70mph.

I would go with the 2 place...Its always better to go to the specialists for something like this.

Where is the ticking coming from? Inside or outside? engine bay? wheels?
Every 4th gen has little rattles and squeaks...you can get some anti squeak tape from Nissan, but most are too lazy.

try running a cleaning disk through it...otherwise the most or scanner may be dying...
Also any shop can fix a hole in a tire for about 20 bucks...I would do that and then fill all tires to 32 psi per tire.

I originally went to the place near my work, I made an appointment on wednesday. So I went there yesterday and I was told that their tinter was gone for the weekend. I'm having it done now at the place on L.
The ticking is near the engine, sometimes it goes away. Not that bad unless i'm in a drive-thru or something.
And I my dad can fix the tire for me, it just made me mad that the seller completely lied about it. Hopefully he didn't lie about anything else.

Ok, now what side does it come from? driver? Also is it closer to the cockpit or more near the radiator?

The seller could have not even known if it was low. Slow leaks are hard to detect by the regular non car enthusiasts. Dont be mad about such a small thing...its not like the axles just broke or something.

The sound is coming from right in front of the engine I think, haven't looked too much it. Don't think it is too serious, I just don't remember hearing it a few weeks ago.
And the tire loses about 1PSI a day and it was at 10 when I got it, so I'm sure he had to know about it.. If the guy would have mentioned it It really wouldn't have bothered me, i just don't like getting lied too

That most likely is the timing chain tensioner....It does that after so many miles...You can replace it.

Hey I live in Bellevue, it would be awsome to meet with other fellow Nissan owners.

I might stop by for a little bit, but I don't get off work until 7.
And I just went through my first tank of gas(14 gallons), and i got a little over 350 miles, so that is about 25mpg. I'm really surprised by that. My accord will get 22 if i'm lucky. I'm planning on washing-claybarring-waxing later so hopefully it will be a little shinier by the weekend.
