thats when I would pull out the old tape measure and do it old fasioned way turn wheels straight get a friend and measure from tread on front of tire and back. Should be same.
Well I got a little back so I am ordering. A new ACT clutch, my 550cc from kzoosho along with few other misc stuff to finish it up. Last year there was a thread on guys buying parts for their maxima with their money they got back. Was intersting to see what people are doing.
No just turbo seen better days has around 90k on it. I got it and it burned little oil at first and just getting pretty bad. That no biggy really there easy to rebuild. And need the power commander to tune little better than fmu alone.

well I got my blue maxima done and tuned. She pulls way better than I thought it would at only 8psi. But of course then it started blowing the Engine control fuse under the hood so maybe I can get that figured out today.
checking for interest in a car show. Annual applejack car show here in Nebraska City. $15 pre register $20 day off. Usually have couple hundered cars. Mostly more classic stuff. We do have classes that Maxima would fit in. I enter mine every year. Trophys for top 3 places in class. Id like to know if get a few maximas or nissans at that. Im going to get us spots reserved so we can all park by each other. Show is on Sept 20th. Will post more info when get flyer in hands.
NE Crew, checking in. Saw jasonmax's MAF cleaning thread and the link to this thread in his sig. Just bought a 01 SE Automatic. My first auto, ever, which is 10 years or so. I've previously had a few Accords (just got rid of my 03 Accord V6 6speed ), a Civic, a Prelude, and 3 turbo DSM's. First time in a Nissan. so far the SES light has come on, the gas mileage sucks, but the Bose sounds great.
haha, I've seen alot of maxima recently. and I've also raced a maxima too, sadly that guy was a bit ****, he turned in a corner too fast, that he went up the curb.
anyways, just got a new bike after 5 weeks of healing my broken collarbone due to a motorcycle accident, which wasnt my fault.

Life would be boring without the Maxima.
Picked up an '02 SE 6spd on 5/31/09. Bought it from another .org member. Sterling Mist with Black cloth, no HSLD, sweet garage door scratch on the back bumper.
2nd Maxima - previous one was a '91 SE 5spd about 8 years ago. Also had a '99 Altima GXE 5spd (Sterling Mist) which I traded in a couple years ago for my '05 Volvo S40 T5 AWD 6spd (for sale! $14,900/obo).
Its great to be in a Maxima again though the turning radius is horrible.

funny you say something about a garage door scratch on the back bumper... mine came with that option also! as you can see in the pic...
I'm not sure what the proper etiquette is for a first post in this thread is, so I'll just dive in.
I've lived in Omaha for the better part of the last 9 years, with a year detour in San Jose, and have owned my 2000 Maxima GXE for 4 1/2 of those years. I've been quite happy with the car, doing almost no mods to it except for a K&N filter.
Now I'm having the annoying pre-cat problems and am looking to replace it with the OBX headers. Do ya'll have any recommendations for an Omaha area mechanic to do this work? For that matter, do you know any to absolutely avoid?
Thanks for any advice you can give!
Mark
