looking for another led tail prototype car in houston.

i am looking for a car to prototype my new led tail design. the ideal canidate would be a 97-99 running tinted tails that had a temporary set as well. the price would be discounted and labor would be free. let me know if you are interested. these were hard to get a pic of, but i like them a lot more.

i need the tailights 24 hours before the install (to allow time to mounts the boards and curing). the first install took about 5 hours, but i' sure the second would be faster. i was asking for tinted tails because i wanted to install reverse as well and the prototype boards are green, but i might hold off on those because i'm lookin at some different power options. i do not have room to store the car overnight so i would need the tails delivered by themselves the day before the install.

Any chance on a 5th gen? I can lend you my extra set of GLE-converted-to-SE tails. You can hold on to it for as long as you need to get it working.

I may be able to help you out there............

They aren't as dark as it looks in the pic but I did spray them and clear them over. I'm no pro but it came out a lot better than I had expected and there are a few cracks in them from when I used to rock the 15s. If you want to meet up to look at them let me know i'm leaving town friday night and will be back tuesday

well i decided to change up the plans a little so the reverse are on hold. therefore i do not need tinted, but i do need a volunteer.

as long as you can do the traveling (you know where my car is) i'm open to anybody. i'm located near the galleria.

i might be a little hesitant to open cracked tails because i'm positive it would be their demise. however, i may have some fresh lenses around. i'll check it out.

There cracks are like 1/4 to 1/2 inch long not really that big at all and there are 2 in one and 1 in another both on the outer sections. I could meet up with you to give you a looksy before I go. I've taken apart tails once and many headlights and I dont think they would break under being pryed apart. If I remember correctly you use a heat gun right?

ok since there are a couple ppl interested, heres a couple details:

price will be $200 installed (you supply the lights)
install must be done moday-friday beginning at 11am-12pm
tails must be dropped off at least 24 hours before the install
installation/car will be photographed

other than that theres just a couple small details. if you are up to these guidelines lets start a list and post pics of your car if you haven't already.
