2002 Diamante: The Current Beater

Maxima is chillin the driveway for now, so I'm rollin in this...

Took out my speakers (JL Audios) and put them in this car, sounds soooo much better now, I actually have bass again (the infiniti's would not hit the bass notes while jamming Gaga )

Quick Fact sheet:
Exact same features as my maxima, and also...
-Steering wheel audio controls (LOVVVVEEE ITTT)
-Hansel and Gretel mod, leaves oil drips everywhere so I can find my way back home, pretty cool feature
-Independent rear suspension (means nothing, the car weighs like 3600lbs, but it rapes on overpasses).
-Stock height, still little wheel gap...

Might throw on the G35s when I'm bored tomorrow.

This. There's a white one running around here slammed/poke/thewholenineyards. Looks pretty good..

I personally don't care for Mitsu's but this is a great (alternative) platform for the above mentioned.

Have fun with it..

Gives auto 3.0s a run for their money, unless it has a few mods.

Indeed, I think about it everyday, but this car is only getting the stuff from my maxima.

Oh yes I will.... It's a really nice car, if I had like 3k sitting around it'd be slammed on 20s with a nice lip and 2 12s an a nice 7" screen, call it a day.

Or if I was really ballin' I"d do a Magna VR-X conversion..... ohhh baby.....

Anyways, G-thirtyfizzles are going on it soon, if I like the look I'll keep em on the Diamante until the brakes are fixed and I fix the radio (they're the only things stopping me from driving the Maxima, the other maintenance issues aren't bothering me as much).

And to the rest, hate all you want, get your post count up, it's a forum, my feelings aren't hurt as I always say...

Cool beater, I just think they're incredibly ugly. I'm sure it's comfortable as he11 though!

I wouldn't of picked that due to the terrible reliability that Mitsubishi had around that era, but in a vip forum I'm on There is this galant that looks pretty nice. This car has potential towards that route...

Obviously I did not have a choice in the matter, the Diamante has been in our household since 2008.

The more I drive it, the more I like it, definitely a better platform to mod than most maximas.

Would I take it over my max? That's a big hell no, objectively though, it is a better car to mod though.

Besides it's oil eating habits, this car starts up and runs like a champ every time, even after sitting for two months, something my Maxima is not capable of....

//Edit, why not, include my vehicular history while I'm at it....

1998 Buick LeSabre Custom - "THE BLADE"

-Loved this thing! It's what screwed me up for my taste in cars, I will forever need leather, digital A/C, low end torque and cruise control.

2001 Nissan Maxima GXE - "Teh Max"

-5mt slowness, the beginning of the end of my honda fanboy days.

2004 Ford Mustang LX - The Bumble Bee

-Pulled hoe'z like no-one's business.

1998 Chevrolet Camoro RS
No pics
-5mt, sideways fun.

2005 Toyota Camry LX

-34 highway mpg ftw.

Honorable Mentions: PT Cruiser, HHR, Dodge Stratus, 328xi 5mt

Currently in the household:
2008 Equinox LS, 2008 Accord LX, and we know the other two oh so very well...
