2011 Shots - 1999 Super Black 5MT

Hey guys,

I've been making one thread a year now for pictures, so I figured I'd start another new pic thread this year. It will be a continuation of shots. Since everyone has always said the only two things my car needs is coilovers and a full lip kit, well, voila! Haha just kidding, but I absolutely love the new look.

4/19/11 - Since last year...D2 Coilovers, Stillen Lip Kit, I30 Rear Seats, New Headlight Lenses, LED interior conversion (bulbs), etc.

4.5" clearance at best....and no I am not slammed

Looks great!! Have you considered getting rid of that horrid sunroof deflector? There is nothing sexy or sporty about a sunroof deflector, and actually dates the car. That's the only change I would make.

Overall, very nice.

Looks very clean, nice work. Wheels look great, but those wheels have been used for so long on 4th gens, I thought I was looking at an older picture. But it looks good.

<-------------------------------Loves 5 spokes on an A32!!

Car is just . I dig the wheels but I have to agree with a few posters up top. I think the wheels are a bit too bright for the theme of the car. Maybe powdercoating or painting a gunmetal color?

Yes I have actually, that was the first thing I did when I bought the car. Honestly, the line of scratches that are under the deflector would bother me more than having the actual deflector up there. If the car ever gets painted though, its going in the trash.

And thanks everyone else! I personally love the wheels, I always have. I have no intentions on changing them up anytime soon

For reals? When you got your stillen kit painted, wasn't that your chance to have the roof repainted? I bet it would have been under $200 to do.

Regardless, you should start a fundraising campaign to get your roof repainted....haha

I'll throw in the first $10.

I've thought about it, but theres no good place to make a paint line on the roof, unless you use those two V's that are about 2" before the doors. Either way though, I will consider it next time I need paint haha.

Yea man its actually running for the first time in a few months as of last week. Attempted a 6 speed swap in the middle of the semester and ran out of time to work on it till recently. Im hoping to have it repainted, cleaned up and start a thread of my own here soon as I havent in years.
