05.2010 MaxShoot 5.5Gen Change-up
Here's a new look that I went into blind not sure how it would turn out, but is probably my favorite since I've had her compared to anything else I've done in the past. My 8th set of wheels and very satisfied with how she came out. I've had these since Dec, but with the motor build have not been able to put them on and also, went through a heavy process of deciding on powder and color choices.
These are the Volk SF Winnings and they were Gold with a Polished Lip. It was a little loud for me with the Gold and wanted something more tame and have wanted Bronze for the longest time. The scary part was getting the Bronze shade right, since there's 5.84 million different ones. I think I hit the nail on the head with the choice I made, but that's just a personal opinion.
Centers are Flat Bronze, and the lip is the same Flat Bronze with Clear for that Gloss. I'm glad they came out perfect for me, and the Powdercoater did an excellent job. I had them 3 months before the car was finish and didn't get to set the car down on them until now, and was just crossing my fingers that it was at least the look I was going for. Fortunately, it came out better then expected.
Fenders needed to be rolled, and in hard turns she makes minor contact still but it's livable. Odds are 1 out of 10 is not bad.
On to the goodies.......
Volk SF Winnings
Front 19 x 8.5 +38 with 10mm Project Kics Spacers
245.35.19
Rear 19 x 9.5 +42
275.30.19

Thanks for the props guys. This is actually a preliminary photoshoot. She's going in the shop soon for a fresh coat of Super Black and all the imperfections dealt with along with a new full Stillen kit I've had sitting in my garage for about a year now installed. I'll do a full fledged shoot at that time. Have been going back and forth with myself for a long while now about wrapping her afterwards as well, which I would do myself. Still undecided if I have the patience and time for that.

Thanks for the feedback! My goal is geared towards a particular direction. Of course the Millie's looked great, but there's more weight in those compared to these that offset the new found power, and I change wheels like underwear........so I did. I'm ok with not everyone liking these.
I'm going to reserve my further comments until Vastmax and I blow it up with the photoshoot that's to come.

When I saw the very first pic, I was like Dayum, that looks good...wait, it's FWD. Hm. I dunno. Then I scrolled down and ya sold me, pretty friggin sick man. I think you did nail that shade of bronze on the head, it's subtle. I like it. Sometimes that bronze/blacks combo can be garish but you managed to pull it off. Nicely done.
Only thing I woulda done differently woulda been equal width front and rear but that's me. How much can I say when I am rolling on beat up g35's? lol. Actually now that I think about it, my whole car is kinda beat up...dammit.

Ya man. I had to. My car was already visually loud and the monotone look just made my windows that much darker. I had to stop from getting harassed so much and legal them up. The rear window is still 20% though, the sides are 35%. Makes it have that dark effect still without actually being illegal. I like them fine, as I didn't think I was going to.

Thanks once again guys! I'm liking my new setup more and more as I get out and drive the car to do normal various things and seeing her sit in different scenery. She definitely looks good, and pictures blow no matter how good they are. Nothing like witnessing them in real life.
Thanks man! I sold those earlier this year.
