well yeah my dad bought it in 1996 used with 12000 miles and salvage title then i got it. and yes im 19, no help from payments to get the car i sold the maxima for $2000 and put $2000 down
so im stuck with payments but o well its worth it to me lol
nice upgrade. stick with bolt ons and spray if you wanna keep any money in your wallet. lol. FI for this car is rediculous...as well as the supporting mods.
06s are notorious for burning oil. check her every few hundred miles. some ppl dont experience it at all, others eat a quart every oil change. all depends on how the original owner broke the motor in.
well i guess i won't be seeing ur max around anymore. did u sell it local or out of the area?
daytona you might see it one day lol

why not? warranty? only time I used my warranty was on my seat motor. otherwise, nissan has never touched my Z

dam i love it lol..
yeah well im not modding the car until after warranty because im sure ill void it as soon as i order suspension so im waiting patiently but im ordering the still front splitter soon, ill just have alot of parts lying in my room waiting to go on lol
Speaking of Z's does anyone know what the deal is with the oil burning? Why are some engines so much more likely to burn oil than others? I just don't get why Nissan was able to not have problems with the VQ30DE in this regard, yet it seems like A LOT of VQ35's FWD or RWD versions, Revup or not have had oil burning issues.
Nice pick up. No wonder I haven't seen you on here much. I go on the 350forum from time to time as well. What trans? Good luck Bro..

There are different theories behind the 3.5L oil burning. On the FWD VQs some say precat failure causes debris to enter the combustion chamber and damaging the piston rings which in turn causes oil consumption.
Some say VQ35s had inconsistent piston rings from the factory.
As far as the RWD 3.5 and RevUp engines, your guess is as good as anyone elses
To my knowledge the HR doesn't consume oil like the RevUp/DE engines do.
