BawNeY has come full circle...I hope...

Well I have some new pics, I'm looking for some opinions, all are welcome. The title I chose is because I'd like to take the time to apologize for the atrocious mods I have done in the past. I hope I can be forgiven, as well as hoping you like what I consider a near finished product.

I'm not sure what else visual mods would be left for me to do, but that's why I'm posting here.

Oh and a little before and after for the "lulz."

Looks good. Its come a long way.

LOL @ the red mudflaps. I remember you getting a lot of **** for that.

If youre just looking for a cosmetic mod to do...just to have something to do...you could always tint the sidemarkers, and paint the keyholes on the doors.

Looks a lot better from what i remember. Thank god you got rid of that hideous hood scoop!!! Did you use can spray paint to spray your front bumper? Why does your number plate have black over spray on it???

It looks really good. The black painted wheels make them look bigger.

Is the front bumper not as shiny as the rest of the car?

Looks pretty good, you've come a long way. I'm not a fan of black wheels, don't think it works that well with your car. But hey, that's my opinion.

I have the smoked side markers, I probably should have turned them off for the side profile pic.

Ya I want new wheels but this is all I have to work with for now.

And I had the repaint the bumper after someone backed into me =[ I did the best I could, for the price it cost me I'd say it was worth it. I didnt want to get it painted professionally because if I keep the car Im going to do a 5.5 front end conversion.

I see you have the ebay angel eye headlights without the projectors...IMO I think those look a bit more aggressive (for some reason) than the ones with the projector. Is the light output really as bad with those as some people say? I have heard they are even worse than the projectors lol Have you had any problems with the LED angel eyes yet? Oh yea and what is with the black spray paint on the front plate, is it intentional?

Yeah man I had just cleaned the engine bay and some steam came off as the engine was hot. That seems to have fogged them up. I'm pretty upset about that though, I'm not sure how moisture is getting in there...I'm looking into it now.

Headers and I'll have full bolt ons. Its a cali spec car too =[ smh screw stealerships. The car was bought in NY, why the hell did they give us a cali spec? So my main future mod is to get that stupid giant pre cat off the car. Besides a 5.5 conversion after that its either get a new car or shell out for a major mod. Its between turbo and 5 speed swap. But let me get the money first before worrying about that =0 lol

light weight 16s man! Shorter gear ratios! I dont make enough torque to need bigger tires so the 16s do just fine. <3

Honestly I'm going out on a limb and saying that those head lights are the best headlight upgrade for the money for any 5th gen, not 5.5s... For $200 shipped you get completely plug and play 5.5 style lights, with Halos and blacked out or cleared depending on which you buy. The lightout put is at least 60% better than stock headlights. My stocks would light up one road on the highway at night, these will light up all three lanes if you are in the middle lane.
The halos are also completely solid because they arent CFLs. Ive had them over 6 months and Ive had no problems. The only thing is that they arent too visible during the day time as they arent cfl, but at night they look great. And honestly thats when youll be showing off your halos the most anyway.
Anddd the sprayed plate was unintentional. I was so absorbed into making sure the headlights etc were taped off that I forgot the plate...It didnt get hit too bad but I'm just waiting for a cop to bother me for it. W/e though lesson learned I guess lol.

Glad to see it's been steered in the right direction. If you want to continue the show mods, wheels should be next..

Smaller wheels don't mean smaller rolling diameter. You tend to want to keep the overall rolling diameter the same while going up in wheel diameter and width. I had 235/40ZR18s on 18x8 G35 coupe wheels. Same diameter as stock, but less sidewall and a wider contact patch for much better cornering.

Lowering is a good first step, but if you keep it on 16s it's gonna look funky. Definitely a good start though, looks mean from the front.

When I first got my projector headlights I ran them with the LED angel-eyes for only 4 months before, one by one, they started to crap out. I believe the reason was the fact that I was running high-wattage PIAA Super Plasma GT-X headlights which created more heat than normal in the housing and sped up the failure of the LEDs.

Each ring is powered by 2 LEDs which point in opposite directions at the bottom of the ring...if one fails it is an absolute MISSION to replace it. After awhile I got so fed up of the BS cheap a$$ angel eyes that came with the ebay projectors that I ended up custom fitting a CCFL kit into my angel eyes and I havent looked back since. Im glad to hear they are still working well for you, but just be warned if you are running HIDs or superwhite halogens then you may be unknowingly speeding up the angel eye failure process
