Maxima restored! back to life ;) PICS here.

If some of you remember I had an accident, one lady totaled my Max while I was driving home from college. I had some pics posted and the thread is here. Shurik's 02 Maxima Accident update... Insurance estimated the repairs for over $7500, they paid me $7900.
Well I bought the car back from the insurance for $1300 and repaired it. Sence I work at the bodyshop I had all the tools neccessary for the job and later painted Max at work. With God's help the whole repair cost me $1080. I think it's pretty amazing.

Well here is the Max, got it fixed up for about 2 month now. Just haven't been on here to update you guys.

bought another quarter panel from junk yard and cut up everything I needed.

also had to replace the rear axle, the damaged one had a pretty big arc in it.

Sence the rear mille miglia Evo 5 was pretty jacked up. It was bent up pretty bad, I had to order a new Sport Edition wheels from Tire Rack. Pretty much a replica of the Evo5. I have to say they look very identical, but still different in some ways.

Here is the completed project...

Wow that came out excellent, props to you for holding in there and fixing it the right way.

And after my accident this summer I bought one of those Sport Edition KV5 (Evo5 replicas) and I was impressed with the quality, but the shop was able to repair my MM instead. The only thing I didn't like was the plastic nuts near each spoke, opposed to the aluminum ones on the MM's.

Nonetheless, great job!

I'm not normally a fan of your color, but it looks good, especially with those wheels. Great job on the work though.

gotta be proffecional, when you work at the bodyshop being a bodyman you must get things done right, otherwise you won't get too far. I pretty much new in this business, been in bodyshop business for 2 years now. I went to school here to get the degree for this. Im realy into this stuff and just love doing it.

Well I wish I took more pics of what I did. My rear bumper was involved in the accident so that needed to be repaired as well.
The whole paint process is: Rear bumper, quarter, rear door, blending front door, and also blending the whole roof. When I say blending if some don't exactly know what I mean, it's when you blend the new painted color to the old one so you don't see the color difference. Ex: I painted/blended my front door to half so two colors could combine and no color difference could be seen.
