I would like to see the finished pictures like of the entire car and such. But your car is one sexy thing! I wouldn't be able to drive it because I'd be too afraid of getting it scratched or having someone hit me.

You never got around to telling us what your job was. Are you a pimp? A CEO? The prince of the Netherlands?

Well, the time finally came to install the Lexus IS300 fans with the fan shroud from PHR.

First, I had the fan shroud polished as some of you may recall from earlier...

Then came the test fitting. The top right corner did not clear the TB piping and also hit the custom piping at the bottom left corner.

Here's one of the two problem spots....

And the other...

I gave SP Engineering the go ahead to modify as necessary to make it work..so here's SPE cut off the corner for clearance...

Also, the fan blades were rubbing the shroud slightly. SPE had to work their magic (bend the back of the shroud slightly) to allow adequate clearance.

**Note** There was quit a bit of hardware (ie relays, wiring, fuses etc) needed to make this a complete and usable kit, which SPE provided.

The fans are tied into and managed by the mighty HKS V-pro.

SPE did a stellar job at the wiring/install, and made all the wiring/relays/fuses/conduits look OEM. Big thanks to the master techs at SPE!!

Some pics of the relays etc just to the left of the overflow bottle

Updated pics.

New HKS radiator cap, HKS purple air filters, Titek CF fuse box replacement (not overlayed) cover, chromed clutch pulley cover, and previous breather line to turbo inlet pipe has been relocated for a cleaner look.

Wow everything is so detailed to the "T" I mean even the couplers are HKS! Not to mention all the clamps are facing the same way and everything is so planned out and done so nicely............ I don't think words can describe the way I feel...

So to put this nicely, if I had to choose between a brand new porno of Rachel Roxxx and staring at your car at idle... I would choose your car.

Speaking of **** star, when you said I can find what you do as a profession if I looked in the right places, does that mean you are a **** star!?!? And that you are what they call Sal at Littlemutt.com??? Oh, naked women naked women naked women naked women naked women.

Wiz, I just read through this entire thread like a crack addict . You just made me a Supra fan. Spectacular job you did on this car. Sometime in the future when I have my hands or 20 or 30 grand to blow I'll do something like this as well. Maybe not a Supra though, possibly a Skyline... we'll see. For now Im in the process of Turboing my max... Baby steps. Enjoy your ride man, its a beauty.

Why did you stick with twins for this setup? Better midrange, presumably?

I think there's a guy in Poland that is pushing 1100 hp on his... he put a ton of work into it... but he's a motorcycle racer.

Keep up the good work

Well, over the last year, I bought a number of different front (and rear) strut tower bars. I must have a weird fetish for high end and/or rare parts. First, I bought a Do-Luck rear stb because of their rareness and one piece design.

Rear Do-Luck bar

Then a full Titanium TRD style strut tower bar which set me back an arm and a leg. Only a limited run will be made, I snagged #4. The bar is serialized with a number. Weight 3lbs, compared to the original 11 lb TRD bar.

Prototype pic shown below (and #13, not my car)

Then Carbing FSTB (and rear) since it's a solid one piece design and has the MBC mod for improved braking.

Not my car, but here's a pic of the Carbing bar with MBC mod.

And just last week, I bought one of the rarest FSTB's ever made. Less than 5 ever made it into the states, and it's discontinued now. I've been hunting and looking to purchase this HKS Carbon Fiber bar for the past 6 years or so. It's HKS so it will tie in beautifully with all my HKS goodies. About a year ago, one sold for $2200 and the feet were beat up and would need to be conditioned. Another sold for $1500 in great condition, but the metal emblem on the top of the bar was missing.

Here is a teaser pic. Once I get it, I will post full detailed pics.

These ****'s took pictures I've posted and put them on their website. That's my engine bay and my Do-Luck rear cross bar too. The more I look on their website, the more pics of my car I find.

nice james, can't blame you for wanting rare top quality parts. wanna start a rehab program for this addiction? we'll be rich !!!

any updates on external body/paint? you should tow it to the track in feb with the Xrunner and make a couple runs. I would love to see this car in action. but I think Fontana doesnt entertain faster than a 10 sec pass.
