95 SE - Granite Pearl

Here is my 95 Maxima SE. I had a friend take some better pics of my car. The only problem with quality pictures is that the smallest imperfections are more noticeable. But it still looks good. Yes the kit isn't painted yet. Over the winter I hope to get it painted. It is lowered on H&R so it's not too low.

Mod list and more pictures can be found at my cardomain site http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2613067.

Thanks for looking.

Not too shabby. I like the color. And I love the front lip, though I'm undecided on the rest of the kit. It does seem to match the rims fairly well in the the pics.

Looks good. Nice work.

Dont you have 2 this color?

Thanks. Yes I have two this color.

The entire kit is unpainted. When it gets painted it will look even better. I originally didn't plan on painting the kit, but now it's fading, so I have to paint it.

Clean car I would paint those tails tho. I think it would smooth out the rear end.

I did have the upper part of the tails tinted with niteshades, but that got old. Also, with the amber front bumper lights, I wanted matching rears. I like it now.

Thanks for the compliments.

It's only 35%. I should have went darker, but 35% is legal here in WA and I didn't want to get a ticket for that.

Nice and clean. Have you ever thought of powdercoating or painting the wheels silver to offset the granite pearl color of your car?

I just bought the wheels last spring, so I still like them how they are. I like how they almost match.

Yes, I'd love to go lower, but I drive it all the time and with the kit, I'd be scraping on our apartment speedbumps. But, I do hope to go lower someday.

Thanks for all the other compliments guys.

Close to black on black, more like graphite on graphite, but yes. Thanks for the compliment.

The color is stock KN6 (Granite Pearl Metallic). On cloudy days, like the newest pictures, it's more of a graphite color. On sunnier days, it has a slight purple to it. I like it, that's why I have two the same color.

Thanks for the compliment.

How the heck did you find two the same color? I've never even seen one that color for sale!

Well, it was merely by chance. I bought the first one not knowing anything about maximas, other than they were good reliable cars. After 5 or so years in the maxima community, I happened to drive by a used car lot and saw a maxima the same color, but in 5 speed. So, my wife drives the 96 GLE auto and I drive the 95 SE 5 speed. The best of both worlds.
But, the mileage is getting up there on the 96, and we may look for a newer car in a couple years for my wife to drive..

Here's the 96.

Lucky you! My other favorite 4th gen color is lakeshore blue (the wizard). Keep it up!

If you want to meet up some time, let me know. But my car will be in winter mode pretty soon (15" steel wheels w/studded tires, no lip kit), so it may not be too interesting for you.

And thanks for all the comments.
