I bought the car a very very long time ago..... and it looked like this (3 years ago)






Totally stock back then. I bought the car from me fasher ($6k, all da monies in my bank)

Then I went away to college and did some small t'ings to it, hood deflector, smoked sidemarkers, chrome, badging, tint, yellow fogs.

Then it was back to school for another semester, I got rims, black headlights and did some other stuff

I still have somethings I have left to finish for this part: Carbon fiber front lip, black out front emblem, do something with the door handles, and tint the fogs yellow.

I have an engine and tranny that I'm tearing down and rebuilding to be stronger and more performance.

I will continue to post all new and update pictures in this thread, I need to take some new interior shots.

That's quite the life...did you black out the tails yourself? I noticed the red overlays, possibly from bluebatmobile...?

nope I did them myself. Red translucent paint.

came along quite nice, although i did like the rims silver better than they are now...not that black is bad or anything its just that there doesn't seem to be enough contrast imo.
if it was like gunmetal, hyperblack or something along those lines, woulda been better i guess. none the less, still looks good!

HAHA I was waiting for you to see it, I am so happy I went that color. I also think that the rims have a great deal with the aggressive look it gives. I'm going to keep these for track, but now I'm thinking I will get the zigen 17x10's cause I love the concave look.

now just need a CF trunk. I know you said that it would look good spoilerless but I'm wondering what it would look like to have a black spoiler instead of a CF spoiler.

lol I'm gonna dig up some pictures and start a thread too cuz I have quite a bunch of them. But I just feel my car isn't "done" yet, which is kinda holding me back from starting a thread. Anyways dude, I donno if you would be able to fit 17x10 even with 35 offset, unless you stretch lo pro tires with fenders rolled. As far as the spoiler part, there isn't going back once you drill into the trunk, so you really need to put some thoughts through it

what a transformation! what rims are currently on and are they painted?

Just some constructive criticism: while the car looks great I do think you should take the eyelids off. They just dont seem to flow, maybe b/c of your hood

I've never liked eyelids but they seem to flow really well on Dave's car IMO. His is the first car that I actually didn't mind the eyelids... I'd say keep 'em

Other than that your ride is clean and the black rims look awesome.

I have the zigen FN01R-C in 17x9's (yes I painted them black), If I do go to the 10" wide its because of the concave look and it will be in black as well, if I run the 35mm offset I'll have to get 5mm spacers all the way around. if I go 25mm spacers, the wheels will extend another 23mm out

The exhaust has done that for some reason, I've tried to fix it with the screw wrist tightner thing (can't remember the name of it). It still hangs like that as did all my other exhausts

Where did everyone get the idea that I'm removing the eyelids, cause I'm not they be staying yo..
