I tried my hand at HDR... I don't have a tripod, and I used a point and shoot Canon SD1000. The first time I tried HDR, I did it with zoom, so the high exposure shots were super blurry. I did these with steady hands and no zooms, then made them into HDRs. I'm still not very good at it, but I got two shots I liked.

Since my HDRs seemed to come over pretty well, I decided to try a non-HDR one where I messed with the shadows and stuff. The first two are composites of 5 different exposures, this one is from a single image.

haha I wish... roads here in North Jersey can be terrible. Seen a few too many horror stories (here, but especially on NYC maximas) of people who were low and scraping up their bumper or bottoming out or breaking a wheel on a pothole.
