Those pics are depressing. It is so sad how many of these projects never get done because the shop/person is a just a terrible businessman.

I think you will enjoy the SC though. Just realize it is going to cost a lot more than you ever think it will.

If you need that starter, just let me know. It might need some grease, or at the very least be used as a core.

dude I need that starter. And the pics haven't started yet. I just got pwr back from the hurricane that hit last week. So I haven't been able to truly work on anything. I'm going to try and do something this weekend and see by chance if it at least starts up. I need a battery and a starter

That's right it started today. I went bought a starter and a cheap battery and cranked it up!!! It started it didn't keep running, the egr valve was smashed (i think its the egr). So now I need to get another one of those. I think it'll hold an idle once I get one of those. And once that idle is held then. Within a month its off to the body shop

Maaan Ace, i'm surprized you still have this car, I thought you gave up on it to be honest. Good to see you are still in the game, good luck on getting it put back together.

Well its a official. Its officially over I can no longer work on the max. Monday it is being towed to the junk yard. After figuring out everything and doing a final price of misc parts that I need, that I didn't figure in to start b/c I didn't know I was missing them, I'm junking the car. I missing to many little parts that starting to add up to to much. As of right now I'm looking at about $1500 additional then the 4k that I was already planned. And for that price I just go ahead and get a new one. So I'm stripping everything and selling the shell and engine to the junk yard. I still have all leather interior parts including seats. so....keep an eye out for a for sale thread in a little bit. Sorry to get everyones hope up.
