1995 Granite Pearl SE 5 Spd.

Hey guys,

I got most of the Stillen kit on and took some pics. One rear piece of the kit doesn't fit well, so I'm waiting until it's real hot out to see that makes it more flexible. If that doesn't work, then I may have to try something else, more drastic.

Anyway, I think it is looking real nice even with out the rear pieces.
ENJOY!

Updated pictures further down (6/25/08)

More pictures are on my cardomain site.

great work man! Its nice to see modded 95-96 models....lots of ppl swap the 97-99 front end. But it looks great and that rear valence will complete the look.

Maybe you could heat up the rear piece with a blow dryer?

I did try that, but I had a wimpy hair dryer.

To all who commented, thanks. I've worked hard on my car, doing most of the things myself.

I was looking at your Car Domain page for your 96. Great looking car too. What do you call that color? It's not black, is it? It looks grey.

It's called Granite Pearl Metallic (KN6 code). I really like the color. It varies from black to grey, to a dark purple. I like it so much, that both my maximas are that color.

Thanks for the compliments.

^^ That's cool that they're the same color lol. The '95 just looks darker to me for some reason. Anyway, love 'em both. Makes me miss my newly sold Max even more.

His sig says that he's on H&R springs which explains the non-lowered look.

The color varies depending how much the sun is out. Darker when cloudy and more of a purple tint when sunny. I like the cloudy days.
You keep saying how you miss your maxima. If you miss it so much, buy another one.

Yes, lowered on H&R's. I wanted the comfortable ride.

To the others, thanks for the compliments. I am pleased with the way the car is coming out. Maybe some day, new wheels, but for now, the SE wheels stay.

Well I've been thinking about wheels for a long time. These are the wheels I've considered. I don't plan on getting wheels anytime soon though.

All 17" size:
Sport Edition E1

Sport Tuning Glide

Liquid Metal Static

Those are just a few. I like a thicker 5 spoke that doesn't have a lip, so it looks bigger. But I've seen others I like as well.

I just can't decide, so I haven't got rims. I was going to get rims, but I went for the kit instead. I really like my 98 SE wheels and they look great on the car, tires are cheaper, they ride more comfortably, etc.

I don't know why I am even looking, I don't plan to get them soon or maybe even at all. I'm just bored I guess.

I do like those wheels and I may get them next year. We'll see if I get any spending money for X-Mas this year. That's about my only chance I'd get new wheels. I hope my current tires last that long...

Thanks guys. I've tried to keep it clean and subtle, almost stock appearing.
