New additions to my 4th gen. *Interior stuff*

So I had some extra cathodes sitting around and my directwire just came in so I decided to hook em all up today. Also wanted to take some pics of the altima 18's that I recently put on. So here are some pics for yall.

The car w/ the new 18's. I'll drop it this summer along with some lower profile tires.

Hardwired Radar

Mute button located by the steering wheel.

In attempt to create some ambient lighting, I mounted a cathode underneath my cupholders and I drilled a couple holes to let the light through. I like the look of it at night with some drinks in the cupholders.

My other cathodes I used for some footwell lighting, On the driver's side, I unintentionally mounted where the plastic panel underneath blocked most of the lights from showing so that is why the passenger side seems a whole lot brighter. (Shot at a very high iso, sorry for the grainy pics)

cathode is a different form of lighting, its kind of like a neon tube, only the lighting filament(not quite sure that's the right word) is different. I would have used leds for my cupholders, but i just had a spare cathode laying around and I experimented with the idea. I might change the cathode out with some superflux leds later on.

cathodes look like this

Brad - Yah I love the water bottle tooo, i might start carrying around water bottles for looks

I ordered a directwire from the escort site and with the direct wire I tapped into the positive wire leading into my cigarette lighter with the provided 3m tap and then routed the negative wire to a ground on my car. Then I routed the cord up my A pillar up along the headliner. The switch just comes up from underneath my steering wheel mounted with velcro that was provided.
