My 2002 Sterling Mist SE

Snapped a few pics of the car since I hadn't posted any yet, I've had the car for almost 2 months now and I am loving every second of driving it, best decision I ever made to upgrade. The only thing I don't like right now is how the muffler is mounted, meineke did a decent job with everything but the mounting and I am going to have it tucked up closer to the bumper as well as leveled and straightened out. I've also included a picture of what I traded in to get the max, I've had 4 different s-series related vehicles since I've had my license (92 S10 2wd, 95 GMC Jimmy 4x4, 97 Blazer 4x4, 2000 S10 2wd) and got bored with the whole "minitruck" crowd. I completely rebuilt the motor in the truck, it was a 4.3L V6 5spd and I added a comp cam, full valvetrain, spintech exhaust, intake, PCM tune, eaton posi, etc. etc. was a fun truck.

The truck

Looks good! Great choice on the upgrade. My suggestion would be a tint job next

I think it cost me like 260 but you could probably get it done for cheaper than that

Thanks and yes it is certainly hanging low for my tastes, meneike employs the "eyeball it and run with it approach" apparently when mounting a muffler, they were definitely off by a bit. I am making a call today to a legit custom exhaust shop to have that corrected!

Thanks man, my main focus is performance really, I've got a FSTB in the mail along with a Berk Intake right now. In the future I want to get my hands on a set of intake spacers, either do the free STS or purchase a kit, performance springs/struts, brake upgrades (probably just upgraded rotors all around with good pads), and I'd like to get my hands on a different set of wheels (there are a couple 17" Infinity wheels that I am a fan of). I'd also like to make a new sub box that looks and fits better than the typical "hatchback" box I have now, plenty of things I could play with that I am sure will happen at some point!
